Food is excellent, beer selection is good and the staff are different class. Couldn't recommend a pub more.

Perhaps a little walk away from the main tourist path, but definitely worth the great atmosphere and fantastic food. A few friendly regulars to chat to, or a quiet corner if that's what you're after.

Great food for a low price, friendly staff. The waitress made a small mistake, but we got an extra portion of fries to compensate. If you visit the bristol suspension bridge, do stop here for lunch, dinner or a drink.

Having frequented nearly all the pubs in the Hotwells area, I can say this is definitely my favourite. It has a nice decor and welcoming staff, and, although it can get busy, there's normally room to sit down. Can't speak about the food, but certainly...More
