Catch22 is INSANE. It's easily the best fish and chips ive ever had. I order from here more than i should! I appreciate fish and chips and food is subjective and some people prefer different things. But most people i know are very taken with...Catch22 so if you're in the area i HIGHLY recommend it. Their battered halloumi is fabulous.More

Went here the other day and what a great place. Really impressed with the food (COD and chips). Service was top notch and will be back again. Ideal as my partner is gluten free. Yeah lovely place in good location . Thanks

Have had the vegan fish and chips twice now and it’s absolutely fantastic! Huge portion sizes that’ll keep you full for a week. Staff are also incredibly lovely and friendly and the price is good! What more could you want!? A must for those sunny...days sat down at the Harbour. :)More

Was so happy to be able to have fish and chips for the first time in ages. They actually did have gluten free batter AND gluten free vinegar!! This was the best fish and chips I have had in years... Great curry sauce too. The...service was really friendly too!More

Went to catch 22 for a family lunch today . Fantastic professional friendly service . The vegan fish was amazing . The kids had fish bites cooked to perfection. The burger was 10/10 . Very impressed with the consistency of this establishment as I have...visited this place many times previously. 10/10 all roundMore

I'll be honest, from the outside it didn't look too promising and inside the decor is rather basic. But we got a friendly welcome and our haddock and chips were a substantial repast and well cooked too. On a friday night when other eating establishments...were heaving and noisy it was a relief to eat somewhere relatively quiet.More

My partner and I ordered from here last night, and as a Coeliac it is incredibly difficult to find places in Bristol that are A) gluten-free and B) the gluten free options are Coeliac safe. We rang before placing our order and spoke to the...most helpful, lovely guy. He answered all of our questions, guided what was safe for me to eat from their menu, and told us in detail their cooking procedures and how they reduce cross-contamination risk. The food arrived quickly and hot; and it was the best fish and chips I’ve had, especially since being a Coeliac. I will hand on heart recommend this place to any other Coeliacs looking for this type of food. Will definitely be coming back again, thank you so much for giving a sh*t about us coeliacs!More

I'd have thought the local supermarkets would have anticipated a rush on lemons on Pancake Day but at 6pm every lemon in Bristol city centre had been snapped up. I was passing Catch 22 where I'm always offered a wedge of lemon with my fish....I asked if they could spare one and they let me have one for no charge. That's another reason to get your fish and chips from there. They're so generous!More

Open 'til 2300 so managed to grab a quick supper after the Old Vic. Excellent fish and chips - great batter and not at all greasy. Would agree with helenyw on extractor fan. Could certainly smell it on my clothes the next day...

The guy was nice. Food was on the small side but we got the lunch deal so maybe that's why, left feeling full anyway. Very tasty food, lots of options. Even a vegan option

Hi Mark The disabled toilet has a wide door and is located at ground level so no stairs to use. Apologies for the late reply. Kind Regards

Hi Johnny Apologies for the late reply, trip advisor failed to give us a notification of this question! Our cod is skinless but everything else is skin on. Hope that helps!
