Across the road from Colston Hall, where we were going for a concert, we had a fantastic meal here. The staff were all lovely & helpful, and the good was superb. Would happily return!! Thank you

We came across this restaurant tucked away in Colston Street. We were given a warm welcome by a member of staff and shown to our table. The restaurant is run by a Nepalese family and is reflected in the personal service given. We enjoyed our Indian dishes, the ambience, charming staff and complete experience. When in Bristol this is a... More

Visited Kathmandu for someone's leaving meal at work and the food was wonderful. This is actually the 4th time Iv been (my colleague's 8th) which is a credit to the quality of the food and service. Booked a table here with our family of 10 for our 50th anniversary. It was just perfect. Anita & her staff made us so welcome & had even decorated with banners & balloons. The food was outstanding. As was the service. I truly recommend this restaurant for some really different dishes in lovely surroundings. Thank you all for making our... More

Arrived at 6pm in Kathmandu for an early dinner before an 8pm concert. Welcoming staff provided a good, but not rushed, service while understanding the time frame - they indeed enquired of us if we were going on to an event. The food was excellent with subtle and strong spices, wonderful tastes and all supported with fine poppadums, dips, breads... More

My husband is a regular visitor here and we both had the opportunity to be in Bristol at the same time. I am not a great fan of spicy food, this was my first visit (and will not be my lasy) but this restaurant is amazing, the waitress (owner) is so lovely she recommended dishes for me, there were all... I've never been but was persuaded to go along with some new work colleagues. Glad I did, great service, drinks not too pricy, the food is out of the world. I had 4 pints, starter, breads, main, lots of extras and still paid less that £25. Brilliant place to go. Awesome

My best friend and I meet here once a month for a meal. The staff are always helpful and the food is consistently impressive. Even their own beer, called Katmandu is highly recommended. Great value, great service, looking forward to our next visit!!
