Is a nice place if you are vegan or veg as you are a bit limited in your Sunday roast options. However brekkis are quite pricey for what they are and their lattes need to improve! We once went for dinner and it was a little expensive for good quality and love into the dishes!

Went for Sunday lunch and had the roast which is a veggie main with all the roast trimmings. Really tasty, filling and well prepared with great subtle flavours in the accompanying roasted veg. The Yorkshire pudding was a bit strange. Delicious, but not Yorkshire pudding as I understand it. It was light and crispy and I suspect was mostly egg.... More

There is a small but varied menu which leaves you wanting to try it all.I was also impressed with the cocktail menu for a treat. The aubergine bagels were A good flavour and the hash brownies not at all like the usual breach lumps of potato but chunky and tasty. The waiter was very helpful about finding us the right sized high... Wide range vegetarian menu with some vegan options. Vegan breakfast was very filling. Coffee ok and at least Fairtrade. Some yummy looking desserts again with vegan options but too full to try them 😉

Bloody brilliant. I can be heard around Bristol saying 'it was the best out meal I have ever had'... honestly, just absolutely delicious, well-presented and perfectly timed. And for a happy meat-eater, I just wasn't expecting to be so blown away! The staff we're a delight - easy-going and very helpful. The place was ambient, tables felt spacious and suitable... More

I had carrot and almond pate, peanut chutney, pickles and masala crackers to start, my partner had gem lettuce, charred asparagus, colcots, sweetcorn, pickled mustard and smoked cashew dressing. For main we both had spicy jackfruit tacos, pico de gallo, almond cream, pickled shallot, habanero sauce and rice. Everything was delicious and the service was great too.

I frequented Maitreya with my boyfriend for date night, and loved the menu and our waiter so much I took my parents (who aren't veggies) and they thought the food was excellent. My partner and I are both vegans, and a good amount of the menu has vegan options - every course was delicious. The staff were super friendly, helpful... More

This was a last minute visit as we were passing through Bristol and thought we'd give somewhere new a try. This place is a wee gem. What a find! Soooo delicious and super friendly staff. My partner is a fuss pot of an eater (veggie who doesn't like ginger or chilli!!), and I eat everything and love spicy food. There's... More

A table for two, in the delightful upstairs room. Food was perfectly presented with flavours matching the presentation. Staff exceptionally friendly. A wonderful experience and thoroughly recommended.
