Lovely food. We had a starter & side to share and then two main courses and could not quite finish it. Good service. Great value for money and very friendly

I'm not a vegetarian nor a vegan but I do like good, healthy, tasty food and this is what I got here! The salads on my plate were varied and very interesting. Most of all, they tasted yummy. I'm a convert to this cuisine and will definitely go there again, not just to accommodate my vegan friends, but because I... More

I can honestly say this was the most delicious food I've eaten in years. I will be bringing friends who are members of the "it's not a meal without meat" brigade. That'll show them. Relaxed but pleasant surroundings, nice staff, quick service. Good selection of beers too... mmm weißbier!

Visited on 1st October with veggie friends after a recommendation from a local. The menu offered a choice of imaginative and appealing dishes to the point that we each ordered a different starter and main and shared each! Despite causing relative havoc requiring extra plates and cutlery to do so (making 4 girls - 1 soup an actual thing), and... More

Trying to search for this restaurant on google maps would be a dyslexic's nightmare, fortunately you don't need to be completely literate to enjoy the variety of great food presented in the Maitreya Social (however it would help if you could read the menu). I was shocked to discover that as a locally renowned food critic, recent heralded as one... More

Had a delicious meal here after reading a great write up in the Sunday Times food mag. Started with tempura broccoli which was light, spicy and just so tasty! For main I had the polenta with mushrooms - it was incredible. I have never had such tasty polenta before and the mushrooms were garlicky and cheesy. It was heaven! Wine... More

This is one of the hens favourite restaurants but new to most of the rest of the party and I really couldn't find fault with the quality of the food, the service or value for money - a thoroughly enjoyable evening with delicious food - all of which was very new to me in terms of style and content!

Wanted to try something different and have a significant other that is hard to please due to dietary needs. Wow. The food here was excellent! Great flavours, perfect portions and a very reasonable price. The service was polite and punctual. I really could not fault the place. Will be back to try the whole menu, was very hard to decide
