Visited here on Tuesday evening this week with work colleagues for pre meal drinks and had pre booked two groups of 5 to allow for social distancing etc. Greeted at the entrance and then shown to our two tables which were kept very part apart....Could not fault the attention to detail to "tick all of the boxes" in these strange times, all staff wore masks and you ordered your drinks via the menu on their app and paid for them, drinks were then brought to your table within 5 minutes of completing your order. One way system to then use the toilets if required, all of the staff were very accommodating and friendly, whilst I cannot comment on the food I would definitely recommend this place.More

Want exactly as in says on the tin? Ambiance atmosphere and FISH beautifully cooked, large portions! Other food options are available, but when in Rome..... you wont be disappointed. I will say it is definately an adult setting. BC Before covid.

I've never wrote a review before about a pub however this pub warrants a great review as it was my favourite pub that I visited whilst on a long weekend trip to Bristol. It looks amazing from the outside and the interior is lovely and...quirky too. Prices are reasonable, service is great, cocktails on offer as well as chowder dishes. We'll worth a visitMore

Pubs who are struggling with how to approach COVID 'new normal' should take notes from the Old Fish Market. At entrance we were greeted politely and asked to sign in the 'track/trace' system, sanitized our hands and were shown to a table where we were...told we can order drinks at the bar, or on an app. Staff were all excellent, very helpful and friendly. We ordered our drinks at the bar as we were sat next to it, staff all wearing face coverings when serving drinks. Good selection of beers, ales and spirits available with a nice relaxed atmosphere. Staff were quick to disinfect tables after customers left (including the chairs which I've yet to see done in many other pubs). Overall, a great experience - so much so we came back the same day until closing!More

We have visited this pub a couple of times over last couple of weeks. The staff have consistently managed keeping customers and staff safe. You are greeted on arrival to enter into track and trace, invited to sanitise hands and it’s an electronic sanitiser so...no need to touch anything, then shown to a seating area whilst at same time advised about how to purchase drinks and the one way system. We noted when customers left there is immediate clean up of the whole area vacated that’s table and chairs and staff continually wiping down all other areas particularly the bar area. Well Done team Old Fishmarket Bristol!More

Popped in for a midweek lunch with the family. After the obligatory Covid-related instructions, enjoyed a pint of London Pride and a fancy fish finger sandwich with chips. Other meals enjoyed by us included the ragout and the margarita pizzas. Good job!

Not very exciting place to drink with limited ales, limited whisky types. A bit scruffy i thought in there. Pleasant staff though, seating again very average though not particularly comfortable. Yet another £5 a pint pub. Not clean toilets. Give it a miss next visit.

During a weekend break in Bristol we fancied a Sunday lunch as a treat. After considering several other pubs the Old Fish Market seemed more appealing. We were not wrong we had a lovely meal of roast beef, roasts and Yorkshire pub and a nice...bottle of wine. Only down side was length of service but it was well worth waiting for. Pub itself was nice, lovely ambience and staff were very polite. Will certainly visit again.More

My husband and I visited with our 9 month old for a couple of drinks and a quick lunch. The pub were happy for our son to come in and provided a high chair. However when we needed to change our baby’s nappy we were...told there was no where to do this. The only option we were given was to go in to the disabled toilet and do it on the floor. I expressed my disappointment and was told ‘it’s not like we’ve done it to annoy you - we’re not really a place for kids’ and that ‘other people do it on the floor’. We had no choice but to change him on the floor which was horrible but it was so frustrating to see that there would have been ample space in the disabled toilet to add in a changing table... if they can be fitted into toilets on trains how can Fuller’s not manage to do this here?!? Very poor and would never go back here. In 9 months of being a mum this is the only place I’ve been to without changing facilities.... pretty shocking in all honesty. That aside the food was pretty good but ruined by the lack of facilities and the attitude of the barman!More
