Warm welcome, fantastic waitress, timely arrival of food. Awesome burgers, fantastic flavours, great presentation, quality ingredients. Topped off by memory provoking surroundings we all had a wonderful time, would definitely recommend.

We walked in sat down and we’re completely ignored for 5 minutes. I asked if we ordered at the counter and the guy said ‘did you just come in and sit down’ . Anyway he continued to ignore us for another 5 minutes so we...walked out. Shame as we have had nice family dinners here before, not sure if I’ll go back again. 🥲More

Originally we were to go into planet pizza next for on a night out but by 8.55 they had run out of pizza bases (you had one job!) Anyway we couldnt do that so opted for atomic burger next door. The decor is very retro...but cool and the staff were nice and helpful. We ordered something called the 'michelle' burger Came out pretty quick and looked average on the plate at best (decent amount of fries) Thats where the joy ended Im afraid. Soggy fries, a cold 'just from the fridge' brioche bun and basically whatever this michelle burger was, it fell apart and out the sides. what I did eat was overfried and basically smush. Its not nice and never were my mates. Add that to the fact were just had to have something to 'fill a hole' and 12-13 for the privilege. genuinely would give it a 2 out of 10 and thats only because at least the fries and burger were hot. In honesty should have found a chip shop or tesco meal deal up the road. Never again. Grim!More

The staff were really friendly from the moment we got there and the food was fantastic, as well as all the choices available. A beautiful setting and I'd definitely go back again if I was in the mood for a burger.

Honestly the best burger and fries we've ever had! We went as a family for a birthday including my daughter who is Ceoliac. The manager was incredibly reassuring about how her burger would be handled and cooked and was incredibly helpful with my questions. The...food that came out was well presented and absolutely delicious! Even my daughters food, which was a Gluten Free version of the burger on the menu, was fantastic, even the bun! All my family agreed, all the burgers they had were the best they've ever had and if you are not GF, you need to try the Cajun fries! The venue itself is so cool and funky, very retro and a talking point amongst us during dinner taking me and husband back to childhood toys we used to play with. My daughter has had Ceoliac since she was 5, and we have eaten out in various places all over the country and Atomic Burger has Honestly been the most reassuring, helpful and best food we've ever experienced! You need to try it for yourself! Trust me!More

We've been here many times as a family of 5. Great experience tonight. Delicious food, attentive staff who seemed happy and were warm and friendly. As always, a great atmosphere to boot. Highly recommended.

Although I have always been thankful for the free burger on your birthday scheme, tonight wiped the good times away. What happened Atomic? No atmosphere or customer/staff interaction, it was like turning up to nursery with the young staff you had working! More a drop-in...deliveroo than uber cool venue like it use to be. We certainly fear for your future, good luck to you all as this was probably the last visit for us.More

Ordered four burgers (two veggie, two meat) and all of us were massively underwhelmed. The veggie burgers are made from soya mince, are bland, but worst of all do not hold their shape at all, to the point where it may as well have just...been a bap filled with mince. Both veggie burgers completely fell apart. The meat burgers, we were, informed were equally as unimpressive. None of it would have been so bad if it wasn't so pricey. Came to £67 for four of us (one of whom didn't even have a drink). For that price you expect something mind blowing, however it was utterly awful. We were even overcharged slightly as the menu price was out of date for one of the meals. The milkshakes were very good, and the service was fine. Will never be returning again however. Ciao burger next door is half the price and ten times better.More

A quick thank you for a great meal on Saturday evening. The food was great. Everyone enjoyed their food. The milkshakes were out of this world as usual. I've been coming here for years and I always enjoy it Thanks again.  Myles

I used to live in Oxford and visited their sister restaurants fairly frequently and always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. However, our most recent visit to the new premises in Bristol was quite disappointing. The brioche buns on the burgers were obviously long-life buns: overly...sweet, spongy and claggy amd they over powered every aspect of the actual burger. I got one half of a sorry looking, soggy leaf of lettuce in my Dead Elvis burger and some squashed, diced tomato. The burger patty was small and very well-done so it was pretty much flavourless. The sci-fries aren’t the same as they used to be - basically no Cajun spice evident, and a minuscule portion! The onion rings were over cooked so they were hard. Only good thing about the place was the waitress, she was fast and efficient, and the music. Won’t be returning - such a shame.More

We have visited atomic burger loads of times and always love the amazing food (trailer park fries are the best) and the quirky nerdy and fab decorations. However this time was amazing our server Anna was so lovely and chatty and made our visit after...a climb just so special. So thank you Anna and atomic burger for an incredible evening.More

I’ve been here a couple of times before but I felt compelled to write this review after my latest visit. I’ll get to why in a little bit, but let’s start with the general stuff. Atomic Burger isn’t a serious restaurant and nor does it...intend to be. This isn’t anything bad. The decor is kitsch. Hell, it’s a pop culture wonder. I’m currently sat under The Millenium Falcon with Ghostbusters to my right. Han Solo frozen in carbonate hangs above the middle of the restaurant and a stormtrooper stands next to the bar. It’s a lot of fun just finding the different pop culture references. It takes you back to your youth. They’re conversation starters. You’ve got the picture. On to the menu. We started with pulled pork nachos. An ample serving easily shared between two. As the name suggests, burgers are their forte. And there’s is an incredible choice. Beef may be the dominant patty, but there’s still a great choice of different toppings as well chicken burgers, hot dogs and very well curated vegan/vegetarian options. There’s also a solid choice of fries to accompany your burger of choice! I went for the Cluck Berry burger (there’s that humour again), whilst my party had the Cordell. Both amazing, both lovingly cooked and delivered quickly! But the reason I’m posting is the staff. I attended post CoVID. So limited capacity, some restrictions still in place, mainly bookings for tables. We had a booking, table already set up for us. Whilst browsing the menu the staff were very chatty whilst also being attentive to other customers. They didn’t have my first or second choice beer, but that wasn’t a problem because the staff were polite about it and kindly went to the bar twice to check what they did have. All this whilst dealing with delivery orders. What happened next was that a group came in and acted like they owned the place. The staff did their best to accommodate them without a booking but the attitude they received from this group was quite frankly appalling. The hospitality industry has been hit the hardest and quite honestly, the staff didn’t deserve to be treated as they did. What I saw was the staff serve this table with exemplary manners despite the attitude of these punters. And for that, I fully commend them. I’d come back to Atomic Burger for the atmosphere, the food but most of all the service. And I implore you to as wellMore

Amazing burgers, shakes and chips. Tons of stuff to nerd out over as well as an old school pacman machine which was available for customers to use. Staff was all lovely with special service from Steve! Awesome restaurant.
