A rather odd evening at a private event. Something does not add up about this place and it is difficult to pin down what it could be in all honesty. Of course, the nature of the underground building does restrict what is possible with the layout but the tucked away bar cannot help. It also seemed to me that not... More

Booked the Masterclass Cocktails with nibbles for our friends hen day. From start to finish it was wonderful. Good choice of cocktails, amazing service, very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Even had a guided tour of their museum and art gallery. It made the hen day extra special, thank you guys. Roz, Liz and the 3 Helens

Located in a quieter part of town is the Harveys Cellars. Sometime ago you could go on tours of the wine vaults but sadly this is not available now. When we arrived it was around 8.30pm and clearly to early, there was only one other couple there and lacked atmosphere. It reminded me of those seedy clubs you see in... More

A gorgeous place to go for a drink if you're looking for somewhere a little more sophisticated than the over crowded, brash, waterfront bars. Ideal place for a date, romantic night out or meeting up with friends. Lovely well stocked bar and attentive staff. Drinks a little pricey but you get what you pay for. If you want cheap and... Attended a private event here recently for business. Great central location, and the space worked very well (was approximately 80 of us, but could have comfortably held more). At our choice we had a finger buffet, which was served by very polite and friendly staff. In fact the entire team of waiters, bar staff, door supervisor were all extremely polite... More

On the first Tuesday of the month Harveys have a Blues night. We booked in for Tapas first - limited selection but excellent food. The Blues night started around 9.15pm and exceeded expectations. A group of 4 musicians started off and other musicians came and went as the evening progressed. They just joined in, unrehearsed. The quality of music was... More

Every month they have a "Blues Evening." We had a Tapas meal prior to th musicians arriving which was very good, reasonably priced and efficiently served. The music was amazing, it consisted of a quartet who were joined by other "walk in" musicians who played alongside them or replaced a member. What a terrific atmosphere, the acoustics in this Wine... I hired the private bar for my friends Hen do, we had a buffet dinner which was amazing, cocktails a plenty (they are some of the best we have ever had). The organisation process went very smoothly and the staff were wonderful. The atmosphere is just right with the lighting and there was a DJ but it was not too... More

Where do I start, the staff were so welcoming and very proud of there venue... The bar is a central square which makes it very sociable, the restaurant seating is to one side, background music and a perfect atmosphere. I went with friends but there were couples and groups eating and just drinking in the bar. There is also a... More

It's a lovely setting and the staff were great however the cocktails were pretty much neat booze (some might like this) and the tapas was sub standard, cheapest cuts of meat used and although some dishes were ok, it's probably better to have a simple drinks and enjoy the space.
