Good price range within a fairly extensive menu. Relaxed atmosphere and good food. Wines are good but not a wide choice and staff are friendly. Good location on the river too.

My husband and I had a great lunch on the Glassboat. We chose from the lunchtime menu which was excellent value and shared some bread and the organic avocado and radish tartines starter. For the main course we shared the chicken supreme, the grilled lemon...More

We had eggs Florentine and full English - both were lovely. Good quality ingredients. Would have liked to see more vegetarian options. Service was very good, attentive but not overbearing. Lovely venue and location.

I had low expectations. Dinner on a boat! Sounds tacky! But it's not. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. It has the feel of a comfortable pub/club - informal but decent. With high standards. I had the prix fixe menu which was excellent value without...More

Service was ok but food was disappointing. "Pain epice" with the starter was burnt which overpowered the dish and the main course lacked "cockles" which were meant to be part of the dish.

We chose from the menu 3 of the main course pork dishes and 1 vegetarian tart. The pork dishes looked beautiful and tasted equally good, the tart looked as if it had come from a different restaurant. It was priced at £12 served on a...More

Delicious French Cuisine served on board this elegant vessel. Dined a la carte and everything came well presented and tasted delightful. Varied menu choices and professional service meant we enjoyed our dinner just as we'd hoped.

Had a lovely relaxed breakfast of fresh fruit, eggs florentine and tea. I cannot eat gluten and they understood and catered for me by using gluten free bread instead of muffins. The eggs were perfect and required no extra seasoning. My husband had a a...More

Been wanting to visit here a while. Looked at the menu on on line and they do a lunch time deal of 2 courses for £10. We booked a table and explained we were on our lunch hour from work and they said they would...More

I think you will be fine. Have eaten on the Glass Boat many times & have seen that most people are dressed very casually.
