It was busy on the Friday lunchtime when I popped in. I wanted the goats cheese toastie but they were out so I opted for the mozzarella and chipotle toastie. The food came and it was good, I would have liked more mozzarella as it seemed a bit stingy but the side salad of carrot and pomegranate seeds that came... More

On a quick stop in Bristol, we popped into Boston Tea Party on Whiteladies Road for some takeaway lunch, as we try our best to avoid chain cafes. This is a lovely place, serving a nice range of excellent sandwiches and rolls, along with a good coffee offer. We didn't have time to stay in, which is a shame as... More

I've visited this BTP a few times and it's always been pretty average, however after a really great brunch at a BTP in Bath, I had built up high hopes for a family brunch this morning. The latte I ordered was brilliant, perfect milk and definitely on a par with some of the best coffee houses in Bristol. Unfortunately, my... More

This cafe on Whiteladies Road is always fun to visit. It has an eclectic set of customers and its fascinating to watch the world go by. The cakes are excellent and breakfast is pretty decent too. Service is always friendly.

I dipped into here for a quiet breakfast before a meeting and as I hadn't been here for a while I was quite alarmed at the change in décor which took me by surprise, it still retains the nooks and cranny's that made it a nice spot to go for a coffee and a chat, I had a pot of... More

I've been in here more than a few times to get a morning coffee. "Thank you for waiting" is the phrase you're most likely to hear. The (overpriced) coffee is excellent but it ALWAYS takes ages to get it in this particular branch. This morning is a good example - only one person in front of me in the queue... More

Description
Boston Tea Party is a small family owned independent cafe group serving simple well-prepared food & drinks made with great ingredients, skill and love. Ethically sourced, affordable, feel-good & excellent quality - made from scratch onsite everyday by people who care about what they do. BTP Whiteladies previous incarnation was as a record shop which may have something to do with its distinct retro feel it has. Lots of comfy sofas, plenty of space & amazing artwork.
