My wife, son and daughter and I went here following my son's graduation and what a fabulous evening we had! We started off with cocktails and I then had the onion bhaji which came with a chilli yoghurt dressing which was amazing, very spicy but really nice. This was followed by the fish and a big chips. For dessert I... More

Bristol is blessed with numerous cafes and restaurants. This establishment is a cut above the corporate cafes so is well worth a detour. You may even find parking around the corner for a pound an hour. For lunch go for a sandwich or soup : both have a great homemade flavour. The scotch egg and chutney went down particularly well.

I went to Chin! Chin! for lunch with a few friends and my baby. First of all, I have heard of this restaurant for a while but didn't have a chance to try. People said it's a great restaurant which serves nice food. With high expectation, I wasn't disappointed! The only thing is, the restaurant is so small that surprised... More

You'll definitely love it if you're into pretty vintage tea sets! Do make a booking in advance (they also require to obtain a deposit upon booking). Cakes and pastries were more to the sweeter end while tea was lovely!

its great to go somewhere different, offering a fusion of culinary flavors and culture. It truly is like being in someone's home dining room, with lots of interesting collectables that were a feast for your eyes even if there were inedible. The menu was diverse and tastefully done, and a good place to go for a group.

A very nice atmosphere in the restaurant. The staff were charming and very helpful and knowledgeable about the food served. The food was wonderful. We had lots of small dishes to share and everyone was delicious. We will certainly go back.

We had a English Breakfast there. The interior is great and looks very british for a German. Books, pictures and a lit of stuff about England is there on display. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. Good place for England lovers!

This was the second time we had visited Chin! Chin! and we've thoroughly enjoyed both visits. I love the variety you get with the small dishes on offer (5 between 2 of us proved ample). Each dish is well thought out and executed to perfection. I wouldn't hesitate to order everything we tasted again, yet the squid and the butternut... More

A real old fashioned afternoon tea - tea, well made sandwiches (minute crusts), scones (loads of jam and cream) and gooey cakes. Mmm. Real decadence. Plenty of food and staff really friendly. Thoroughly recommend.

Wondering Why We Keep Winning Awards Lately? Do you remember when food used to taste amazing? Days before the supermarkets piled in with their frozen, pre-packaged chemical concoctions. I remember when my Granddad used to make even simple toast & butter taste incredible; thick slices of freshly baked bread, smothered in real salted butter and it used to taste... Just oh so amazing! But somewhere down the line, we've lost this. It seems everyday food's all about speed, microwaves and pre-packaged. What? Day-to-day, we've now become used to bland, tasteless food, to the point where some basic fast food can even be classed as "tasty". I'm not having it...
