We had the most wonderful Christmas Eve lunch! The staff, especially Szilveszter, were extremely attentive and lovely! The food was second to none and we will absolutely be visiting again. Thank you

What a fantastic transformation - stunning. A great welcome, very Covid safe. Food and Service was excellent, lovely cocktail and great food. Really love the ambiance, very cosy especially on a wet day like today. Thank you to our Server Ella and also to Magda...and Dave in the kitchen. Will definitely return again.More

My girlfriend and I stumbled across this place whilst walking to Berkeley Square (where, I might add, you will discover the most tame squirrels ever!). We were desperate for a soft drink and the local Wetherspoons was, frankly, dire. The decor in the Botanist is...perfect. It has a really classy, yet relaxed, feel to it. The staff were friendly and professional. The outdoor space looked very inviting too, though we went inside since it was a very wet day. We only had a glass of coke each but we weren't made to feel like we should have had more and the prices were very reasonable. All in all, definitely somewhere I would recommend going to.More

Booked for a family meal. Service was efficient and friendly. Food and drinks were excellent. Shared some small plates for starters with the arancini my favourite. Mains were lovely and there was no room left for dessert. Always a good sign. There was a nice...seating area outside (we were inside) which looked like it would be a real hit on a nice day.More

This place has never failed me. I’ve been here for Sunday lunch, date night, cocktails with mates and this time a meal with friends for my birthday. The place has been refurbished since I was last here before COVID and it’s lovely cosy and comfortable....We were served by sylvestre who was attentive and efficient and sorted us another table when we wanted to stay longer than our original table was available for. The food is ALWAYS FANTASTIC regardless what I order and I always find the service friendly and efficient. I think this high level of quality and service so consistently is rare and I don’t think Botanist Bristol is given the credit it deserves. And I eat out a lot, drink cocktails in many places and I know I can rely on a lovely evening at Botanist. I highly recommend. Don’t expect it to be cheap but then high quality is rarely cheap!More

Food was fine, not great but good. All the food was hot and the dauphinois potatoes were very tasty. Service on the other hand - rude waitress. My husband ordered 2 glasses of wine at the end of our meal, about 5 minutes after the...waitress that served us the wine told us she needed the table back We asked her why she sold us the wine if we couldn’t stay and drink it and she shrugged. We asked if we could have a table in the bar to finish the wine and was told there are none left so we had to take the wine outside in the cold. We were approached by a manager who could see that we were stood outside in the cold and explained to her what happened and she was surprised as this was one of her best waitresses! Well if that’s your best I dread to think what the others are like. Manager took email address and phone number and said she would contact me in the morning - no call or email not that I’m surprised! Shame but we don’t be returning. Eaten here a few time’s before but not again - disappointed. First time in over 5 years we haven’t left a tip !More

Hi, The pub is at basement level and we went down a good many steps into an outdoor courtyard. Unsure if there is an alternative entry. Perhaps give them a call.

You need to check the dietary and allergen link at the bottom of this restaurant's online menus. My guess is that if you ask, they will try to meet your requirements.
