Booked a table for me and my Mum. Easy to do and we were made very welcome on our arrival despite being a little late. Didn't expect it but the restaurant was full with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The service was quick and the food tasted great. I recommend the mussels and the meatballs. :-)

Whilst staying in Bristol for a couple of days we visited Di Meo and were very glad we did. The restaurant is small and unpretentious but often these are the ones that serve the best food. We enjoyed well-flavoured garlic bread, pizza and pasta dishes followed by desserts & coffee, all of which were freshly cooked and full of taste.... More

I've been there a couple of times and everything tasted very good. Antipasti are of very good quality and pizzas are tasty as well. The atmosphere is very Italian-like, with Italian music being played as well, to the point that you seem to be in the middle of whatever little town in Italy, instead of being on one of the... More

Di Meo is a small friendly Italian restaurant on the bustling Gloucester Road that serves tasty authentic Italian food. I ate there with a party of over 20 at 10.30 on a Friday night and, although they were not able to put us at adjoining tables due to a party lingering on, they accommodated us at two long tables. The... More

Lovely freshly made food from a great selection on the menu. Slight wait between courses when busy but totally worth it! Small and authentic with lovely staff and are on Taste Card during the week which is fab! A go to when we have visiting family from Scotland down. Recommend 100%!

We visit De Meo about every two months and have never been disappointed. The pizza and pasta is really tasty but the steak is always excellent. I have the steak with chips and a lovely dressed salad. The restaurant is owned by two brothers I believe and the one who is front of house is very friendly and helpful (his... More

Visiting Bristol with family we relied on Tripadvisor for a nearby suggestion and weren't disappointed. Delicious food, especially the seafood risotto and veal in truffle sauce. Lovely, old fashioned atmosphere - nothing fancy or pretentious about this place! The food was unbelievable value, even with a bus fare out from the city centre it's probably cheaper than most. Only criticism... More

This little restaurant is just around the corner from us. We love it. It is a little like fawlty towers and sometimes you need to be patient with the all italian staff and service. Great value for money and great food. we love the staff there who are also very friendly. We eat there at least once a month. The... More
