I was surprised by my wife, to a lovely meal out for my birthday after watching a play next door in the Tabasco factory. I was greater by great tasting Moroccan cuisine My personal favourite would be the lamb skewers, they were divine. Defiantly going to go again as soon as I can find an excuse to.

I am never disappointed when someone gives you a tasty hot dish that not only satisfies your hunger but also leaves you feeling like you have just eaten something special. The menu is full of dishes that tantalise and tingle the tastebuds. And you are sure to find something that suits your palate, if you are not a lover of... More

Very authentic and great taste place. It closed for Tuesday lunchtime. We visited in the evening. The pork belly main course tasted fabulous. The pork crackling was the best I ever had. The lamb dish tasted nice as well. Worth a visit in Bristol.

Having lived in Southville for 14 years, I remember Cafe Ceuiterica (sp) from years ago and have enjoyed many a meal since it has been Souk Kitchen. I went a couple of months ago and had fantastic meze and decided to take my friend last night, telling her that IMO, it was the best restaurant in Bristol. We were slightly... More

Great feel as soon as we entered. Varied menu. Staff efficient and friendly, but not overly so. All eight meals came almost together, and hot. Coffees and mint tea were good. We all said our food was very flavoursome. Definitely would visit again.

The Souk Kitchen is a wonderful little restaurant on North Street that offers a tasty variety of Mediterranean and Persian food. The vegetable pilaf is excellent and well spiced. The tapas options are very interesting and today's special was octopus. There is always something new and interesting to try and the balance between vegetarian, meat and fish dishes is just... More

Nice tapas, full of flavour and excellent service. All mixed flavours well combinated as I expected. Also I had to say I didn't find it extremely good, but is worth it to try and having a nice evening in there.

We took a group of our friends here as an introduction to North Street and Bristol. We weren't disappointed. The coffee is great and food is lovely. I had the chicken souvlaki. Loved it. I'd recommend getting some bread to share for the table as there's lots of sauce to lap up!

You can tell all you need to know about Soukitchen (yes, that is how it's spelled) by the fact that if you don't book a table for dinner, you aren't eating there. Having been turned away on our first attempt, we reserved and returned the following night. The food is Eastern Mediterranean, and a hell of a find in Southville.... More
