Don't bother to come here as the whole place has been closed for the last six months and is up for sale. The lights are all off and it looks rather decrepit.

The owners were very welcoming and having read the owner's back story, we were expecting something a little better and more authentic Instead the curry was "ok" but not comparable to an Indian restaurant - more akin to a curry you would get at a...More

Stopped by one evening after work - terrible food… bland and unimaginative. The naan breads closely resembled those you'd buy in the likes of ALDI. Just a really poor effort all round. Why turn a beautiful countryside pub into an indian restaurant? It was never...More

Concept is a genuine pub with real ale but serving predominantly ''Indian'' food. I loved the concept. The quality of the lamb and chicken used was good and the tarka dahl excellent; hence the 3 stars but the nan bread was worse than a supermarket...More

In a beautiful old pub I have Just had one of the best curries I've had in years. Beautifully spicy, without ripping your tastebuds out, just as a good curry should be. Previous reviews hint at it not being freshly prepared, this is clearly not...More

We stumbled across this little pub on our way to the Speedway GP in Cardiff. Granted, the decor is a little dated. However the pub was clean and tidy. The landlord was very welcoming. My husband is a huge lover of Indian food and so...More

Very welcoming and both my wife and I enjoyed the Indian food from a rather limited menu. We did not try any of the European dishes on offer. Although it is not cheap, we both felt that the meal represented good value. We will eat...More

The New Inn is an attractive 16th century coaching inn, set in a secluded corner of Herefordshire. It has been recognised as 'Midlands Family Pub of the Year' and 'Winner of Best Pub' in 2008. The lounge bar and dining room are enhanced during the colder months with huge inglenook fireplaces which crackle to the sound of burning logs. The extensive beer garden overlooks the rolling Herefordshire countryside, the views stretching to the Black Mountains in the distance. Recently refurbished yet retaining a mixture of furnishings, the ambience is that of bygone age, a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but with the quality and standard you would come to expect. Special events include live music, Fabulous fresh food, including the all day breakfast, great wine, real ales, a friendly welcome from the team all await you.
