Had no expectations as we had not planned on eating here and so had not read any reviews. We were greeted by a friendly and efficient waitress and served with beautifully presented food that tasted as good as it looked. It was the best spaghetti carbonara that I have had in years, however if I was to have it again... More

We have been visiting turre for 15 years and i do agree with some comments about the standards of the food in this restaurant, however, we recently are twice in the maricruz and the food was lovely. We had alioli (the best in town) with warm bread, pizzas which were delicious, and friends had chips which were lovely chunky homemade... More

I agree with Jane A - 'Change of mind'. We are of the same opinion. This used to be a great Spanish restaurant producing honest, typically Spanish, wholesome food. However, I suspect the downturn in the town's economy has hit hard. Our latest meals there have been OK, but nothing special, and that's about it.

I used to love this restaurant. I liked the lovely "Family run" feeling about it. However, since last summer (2012) I don't know what has happened. The food has deteriorated, the waiter service has changed and things are just not the same. I shall not be returning.

This is a much under-rated Spanish restaurant serving the full range of set meals, tapas and menu del dia. In our time I’ve had one of the best steaks ever, the cod of the house is superb, the piazzas are a step above the average and the tapas is fresh and varied. On top of that, ‘mein host’ is welcoming... More
