After a lovely drive we stopped off here for my friends birthday dinner. As usual food & service was good. Staff are always friendly. I do recommend visiting this venue for food or even just for a drink. I have visited here a few times & is always a joy. Love sitting outside when I can. I also like visiting... More

The restaurant is in an excellent spot, with stunning views at the outdoor seating arrangement. If you have kids this is also a fab place to take them, due to the animal collection: goat (in a pen), birds etc. Food was a let down. I went with my brother and we both ordered burgers. My brother did enjoy his burger,... More

I wonder if someone can explain why, despite a very polite request, I was refused a 'real' mug from which to drink my tea on the patio, having to use a paper cup instead? I could understand if the same policy was applied to all on a H&S basis...but my husband was served a pint (at the same time) in... More

This restaurant is set in some of Scotland's most beautiful countryside is family friendly. The kids love feeding the ducks and goats also ponies and rabbits. Ideal for a family outing or just as a couple. Very peaceful food of very high standard good value for money. Staff are friendly and efficient

Beautiful scenery, fantastic service and high quality food much of which is locally sourced. There is a very strong feeling of caring about its customers and desire to improve. Very generous portion sizes and although you can pay less for food in other places you certainly will not get the quality. This is an establishment that cares about the local... More

This place is situated on the WHW, and we decided to stop for lunch. We were seated in the conservatory, which was bright and nice. The service didn't feel very attentive and the food took a very long time to arrive (45-50 minutes?). The food was not amazing, but good enough and we were satisfied with it. They keep some... More

My husband and I were travelling home to Edinburgh last week and had been on the road for many hours when we caught sight of the Beech Tree Inn. Desperately in need of food and refreshment, we decided to stop and go in for lunch. We were impressed by the lovely grounds and conservatory area, so were looking forward to... More

Hadn't been here for a few years. The grounds now include a kind of 'petting zoo' and the outside space is ideal for families. The welcome was warm and friendly and the soup de jour and 'specials' were enthusiastically pointed out. Formerly a favourite, my wife chose the beer battered haddock and I opted for the chicken goujons in sweet... More

Description
The Beech Tree Inn is a family restaurant and bar situated just north of Glasgow. We serve good bar food at value for money prices. In addition, we have a good range of light meals and snacks. We also stock a wide range of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. We have a great beer garden with a children's play area, pygmy goats, mini Shetland ponies, ducks, rabbits, & zebra finches for the kids to enjoy looking at.
