Superb food, service and setting. Couldn't fault anything. Food quality and presentation is 5 star and the staff cannot do enough, the service was exceptional. Been twice in the last week :-)

Stayed here on the way to Gatwick as we had an early start. We had a very comfortable room and enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant. The bar has a good selection of beers and whiskies. Jamie could not have been more welcoming and helpful even offering to get up early and make us breakfast. We look forward to... More

We probably visit the Half Moon twice a month throughout theYear and that is split evenly between Lunch and Dinner. I enjoy the use of local produce such as game and meat but also the clever cooking that the Kitchen regularly provides us. There is a great selection of Specials and i never think " Gosh I had that two... More

Before I wrote this review I thought I'd read the other reviews. I'm shocked that the last 2 were so disappointing! We are planning of moving from London to the sticks and while exploring we stumbled across the quaint little pub! They had a table for us(myself, husband, son of 7 and baby aged 19 months and dog!) We a... More

Up until our most recent visit a couple weeks ago this was our favourite gastro pub, something has gone horribly wrong and we won't be returning in a hurry! We had booked for 3 in the conservatory to celebrate my wife's birthday, at the last minute our teenage daughter had a better offer so it was just 2 of us.... More

Visited this pub frequently up until today when such appalling customer service from the landlord himself means we will not return and urge you all to spend your hard earned money elsewhere. We popped in after work and were served ok for the first drink. Then some extremely loud and vulger people walked in who the landlord clearly knew. He... More

Visited here last Saturday evening for dine with friends in the Sussex countryside. A lovely country pub with an excellent atmosphere with a very good service and very friendly staff. My wife and I both had salmon/seafood salad and it was excellent. All other friends really enjoyed their meals and all were substantial servings. Well worth a visit with friends... More
