What a fantastic Place. I was astonished by the food I was presented with. I did not want to make a fuss as I'm vegan. Nothing was to much trouble, in fact the chef and waitress were all over it providing me with more choice than some of the Vegan establishments I've dined in. The roast pepper tempura, sweet chili... I had lunch here with my sister and niece on my last day before returning home to South africa. I had a starter risotto which was very generous and tasty, and we had bread and olives and shared a salad. My sister had pork belly with gnocchi and my niece had fish and chips, both delicious. Although we were quite... More

We booked through a 30% off Table Pouncer deal. The pub is very 'London' - the bar was busy and loud so we were pleased to be in the restaurant area. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. We had the burgers, which were beautifully cooked - my husband had the chips which were wonderful! With the deal it meant a... More

We arrived in Broadstone on a wet Sunday evening looking for a meal. We went to the Broadstone which was very busy and we were dealt with in a fairly cursory manner and told that the restaurant was full but we could eat in the bar but "it will be a long wait". We felt that we were being told... More

3 of us had lunch here last week and found it very enjoyable. Two members of our group had burgers which were huge and apparently delicious and one had potato/onion soup with mackerel/beetroot and grapefruit salad. The food was really well cooked and presented. A lovely menu with loads of choice for all tastes and they do not mind if... More

From some pub staples to finer dining options, all six of us had a great meal. The local ale selection was enjoyed by the drinkers.

Friendly banter fills the air, unpolluted by the cacophony of TV or canned music. Yes the beer is quite expensive, but there's a good selection and it's kept well. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the ambience attractive. A good place for a drink - and there's food as well.

Very popular drinking place. Really uncomfortably packed with plenty of pushing and shoving from loud - mouthed people trying to impress one another. Snobby! Very long wait for service to the point I left. If your face fits, fine. If it doesn't, forget it!

Visited The Goods Yard after a round of golf at nearby Broadstone G.C. The dining area is situated away from the main bar area, with wooden tables smartly laid with good quality cutlery, napery and glassware. Service was prompt and very friendly and staff were able to explain the various menu options without difficulty. The menu has a good selection... More

The staff are very nice but the quality of the food and the choice is disappointing. The menu hasn't changed for a very long time, the portions are huge and off putting. The place often looks dirty.
