Went to this pub as a family and really enjoyed the evening. The host was very friendly and pleasant to meet. The food was plentiful and well cooked, all in all a good place to visit.

My daughter and son in law surprised us with an over nights stay, breakfast and evening meal for our wedding anniversary. They had booked us into an executive suite which was fantastic. With a sitting room, bedroom and a massive bathroom. The 4 jet blast shower was fantastic along with the large jacuzzi bath. There was also 2 sinks and... More

I've stayed at the Red Lion on numerous occasions and I have to say it's a great little hotel. The rooms are clean and modern and the added little touch of a bottle of water and fresh milk for tea or coffee makes a hell of a difference. The food is exceptional and amazing value for money and breakfast is... More

One of our favourite places for lunch. Service, staff, food and drink all excellent. Made to feel welcome and the staff really care about giving good service. Today I had Aperol Spritz cocktail and it was the best I've ever had. Well done Mark!

We went to the red lion last night after not knowing where else to go and we were in the area. We also had a Christmas meal here in December and I would return again and again. The burger with pulled pork and the chicken and chorizo pie was just beautiful. Excellent service and we will be returning very soon.... More

A few of us visited The Red Lion for lunch and to watch the football. All we had were ciabatta sandwiches but I have to say they were very good. These are served with chips and salad and are good value for money. I had Cajun Chicken, the chicken could have been a bit spicer but still good quality and... More
