Captive audience if you are hungry. There are only a few options, and I'm not into hotdogs! The food was good although the prices were a bit steep. I figured they would be, given the nice location. Note that this is cafeteria style, but the staff clears the tables. Overall a good choice.

Hi Darren J, I'm not sure that you're reviewing the correct restaurant. We don't serve hot dogs in our Dining Room, and it isn't a cafeteria-style restaurant. We do hope that you join us the next time you're in the Victoria area! Thanks, Andrew More

Went with a party to the Mothers' Day buffet, as we did last year. The buffet was fine but the price seemed to have increased a good deal. Will check first next time.

Hi Yonze, Thanks for joining us for Mother's Day Brunch. We're glad that you enjoyed the food, and we hope you join us again next year. The price did increase, as we are seeing the cost of food increase dramatically on virtually a daily basis, by $4 from last year's buffet price. Sincerely, Andrew More

We came here for dinner on their deck and breakfast inside. Service was excellent as was the food. I enjoyed the seafood chowder and the shrimp avocado salad. For breakfast I had the traditional breakfast. The problem on both visits (two days apart) was that it took over half an hour to get our food and they were not full.... More

We only ate here for breakfast during our stay at the hotel. Both were delicious, the vegetarian benny was outstanding. The combination of the pepper jam and the avocado was a delightful surprise. I had the oatmeal the first day. It was okay, just not as tasty as it sounded on the menu. If you like a good strong cup... More

Thanks for your feedback on breakfast, TallDogs! The vegetarian eggs benedict happens to be my favorite as well! I noticed that you dined in the Pub for dinner, perhaps you’ll try the Dining Room dinner menu next time (even though you enjoyed the Pub as well!). We hope we have a chance to serve you again in the near future.... More

We live locally and come here frequently and we also visit the pub on the other side of the facility. The fish and chips are always yummy and recently I tried the halibut with the new spicy pico de gallo What a combo. I'm not a particularly huge Halibut fan but this was fantastic. My wife always goes for the... More

We came here on the whim of their four course sushi tasting groupon. Miso soup wasn't bad. Wagame salad delicious, couldn't care for the spinach peanut salad. We had a dynamite roll, Cali roll, tuna roll and double smoked salmon roll. The Cali roll was actually quite refreshing, but the smoked salmon roll was a bit thick on the cream... More

We have loved eating here before, but were sorely disappointed when we decided to try the sushi tasting menu. The portions were small, and while the ingredients were fresh and the sushi tasty, the price charged was highway robbery for what we received. The final insult was being served a matcha panna cotta for dessert-the bitter yet bland flavour was... More

We deliberately picked an off night to have a special meal at the Seagrille because like any restaurant they can easily be overwhelmed when the place is packed. Quinn and the staff of the Seagrille were marvellous in presenting just the right amount of service in a helpful and friendly way. The food, as was our prior experience, was wonderful,... More

We have come to stay at the hotel for our 30th anniversary and had dinner at the Seagrille for Valentine's Day. We ordered from the special Valentine's Day menu. My wife had the bisque which was cold and had a skin on top of it. Flavors were good but no excuse for being cold. I had the scallops which were... More

We were disappointed with our Valentine's dinner considering the high price. It was a 3 courses set menu but the kitchen was so very slow - it took 40 minutes for the entree to arrive after appetizer. The lamb and the duck were excellent. Unfortunately the potato pave was raw, inedible which the kitchen quickly replaced. Our server was attentive... More
