My husband and I stopped here for lunch after doing some hiking nearby - it is a busy little ocean side town on a Saturday. Had lunch here because I had seen the restaurant on the Food Network show "You Gotta Eat Here" and I had the fish and chips as seen on the show - I had the one... More

Always tasty but go grilled unless u have the stomach of steel. I seem to always have that icky feeling from the breaded stuff tho my kids seem to be fine. Love the clam chowder!

Food was fresh and absolutely delicious ! Fish tacos--large pieces of Pacific cod; lightly grilled on a subtle salsa that did not overpower the fish,Mango habanero sauce gave a nice tang Yam fries perfectly done; coleslaw was outstanding--nice & creamy. Fish & chips--regular crispy was outstanding ! Regular fries done to perfection; cup of chowder--magnificent . Service was fast, friendly... More

Good selection of seafood and other items. Reasonable priced about $20 per meal, good size portions. Reserve if you wish a patio seat.

One of the best fish and chip stops south of Nanaimo! My preference is the two piece "cod" regular crispy batter coating with coleslaw and fries. Don't forget the tartar sauce for fish and malt vinegar for the fries! Not for those worried about waist line.

My friend and I went to the Rock Cod Cafe for dinner. I had 1 piece of battered halibut with Caesar salad. The piece of halibut was quite small, but delicious and the Caesar salad was very good. My friend had grilled cod and fries. I stole a couple of fries and they great. He had two pieces of cod... More

This was ok. The good was pretty average. Like a good chippy in the UK. Although we ordered grilled fished and got deep fried. Maybe lost in translation? But I'm not convinced. The service was very friendly.

I had classic Halibut Fish and Chips and it almost melts in your mouth it is so fresh and tender. I will return... More

Had lunch at Rock Cody Cafe. I had the coconut cod burger with 1/2 fries and 1/2 RC salad. This was one of the best lunch I've had in a while. Great flavor nice fries and the RC salad was a nice blend of fresh veggies. My friend had the fish tacos and loved them...will definitely be back...lovely area too..
