Have dined here in the past and we were eager to repeat. Guessing their has been a change in management and kitchen staff. The menu looked appetizing... We had a bowl of the clams and mussels and received less than 1/2 of what we expected ( from previous visit) they weren't as awesome.. As well a shrimp salad that was... More

A very good place to eat fresh fish! The service was very friendly and although the place was very crouded we didn't have to wait long.

We had a look at the menus in the various establishment in the Bay. This was the more interesting one - all the others were very predictable. Unfortunately the food didn't match our expectations from the menu. Also it was toward the end of service and their desire for us to finish was uncomfortably obvious.

Cosy, homey, friendly, delicious! What a lovely experience. We were seated in the dining room with a view to the harbor. Our waitress was delightful. Lots of options, very well priced menu and very generous portions! We highly recommend the Cod Bites: big deep fried balls of goodness with excellent home made tartar sauce. The chowder was also very good.... More

Fish tacos were amazing and so was the service. Location by the water in this very charming town was really convenient. Lots to see and do on this visit, well-fuelled by the wonderful food and a local draft beer.

The Rock Cod Cafe is a pretty average place ~ somewhere between not bad and ok. Our waitress was friendly and service was good but the food fell short. My husband ordered the grilled oyster appie but they were large and bland. The salt and pepper cod bites special that I ordered would've been good if it hadn't been so... More

I haven't never walked out on any restaurant before. Never thought I would do it in my life. We went there, waited and waited, did a few eyes contact. Servers didn't pay attention to our table at all. Nobody came to take drink order after 15-20 minutes. Servers were there behind the counter. I myself work as a waitress and... More

This has been our favourite place for fish and chips for more than 20 years and once again the food was perfect - we shared an order, they're big, and it came with the extra plate and double condiments, and a big smile. Even on a Monday cloudy rainy night the place was busy, so I would recommend reservations, especially... More

We'd gone on several walks during the morning and I was starved, so when we spied this café I was more than ready to eat. I LOVE grilled cheese sandwiches and I always feel I must have a salad at lunch time. This resulted in a perfect combination. The grilled cheese was on a type of dark bread, maybe spelt... More

We decided to stop in for lunch. My wife had the popcorn shrimp and a salad to go with it. The shrimp were excellent. Very tasty and the batter was not too heavy. Salad was fresh and tasty. I ordered the Shrimp sandwich, it came with two sides, I ordered a cup of clam chowder and the coleslaw. The shrimp... More
