Soup was hearty and very flavourful. Steak was cooked to perfection and very tender. Menu was varied and satisfied the three of us.

We had one supper at the Trapper's Mountain Grill. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had the bison Taco salad, my wife had the Chicken breast with Saskatoon sauce. The food was very good, but the prices are very high. I would put them about 30% higher then a restaurant of similar quality in the city. I get... More

First of all - it is important to keep in mind that you are eating in a resort town where prices are generally inflated. And that's okay - it comes with the territory. But when two appetizers, a beer, a mixed drink and two lemonades set you back nearly $70 you have some expectations that the food will be good.... More

We had skirt steak and meat loaf which were suggested by our server. Both were excellent. Ate outside and it was very pleasant

This is a nice setting - we were able to get a table without much wait and the dining room is quaint and felt peaceful. Our server was fantastic. I mean, REALLY fanastic - wish I could remember his name. He was funny, and charming and helpful. My dining companion had a burger that was deemed "very good". My fish... More

Paid $26 for what tasted like a frozen 12" pizza. Expensive. On the plus side, the waitress was very attentive. The cash register lady was friendly and provided advice on where to see wildlife. Bottom line - expensive place but good service.

After coming down from the mountains we were hanging for food so we went into the first place we saw, which was here. It has a little shop on the side where you can buy all sorts of gifts. The restaurant itself is decked out like a hunting lodge with plenty of space between tables. The food itself is fairly... More

Staff appeared disorganized about how and where to seat us, and had us walk in circles a few times before sitting us at an empty booth. Our waitress was prompt and pleasant, and we were suprised at how quickly the food came. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst meals I have had while eating out. I had the chili,... More

Average service, way higher than average price for medium to poor food. I understand that a business that's only open for 5 months of the year must make hay while the sun is shining but this place left me feeling gouged and certainly didn't make me want to return.
