We stopped off here for a meal. I had ham, eggs and chips and hubby had fish finger roll, salad and a bowl of chips. Very nice, plenty of it. As we only eat small light lunches now we found it to be filling, however we managed...More

A well prepared and simple bacon butty is a desirable item. Unfortunately, this isn't what I received. My bacon was barely cooked with large pieces of stringy fat. It's really not difficult to cook bacon properly. I'd also suggest that the tea pots are washed...More

Recently had lunch here whilst walking on the Tissington Trail. I had ham, eggs, and chips which was excellent. Never had so much ham on the plate. All produce is locally sourced. Nice tearoom with friendly staff.

Situated next to Tissington Hall we sat and had tea for two and a lovely Victorian sponge. Others were having pre wedding lunches, which looked very good. A pot of tea for two and one large slice of cake was good value and the tea...More

They don't display their full menu only a couple of things on a blackboard with no prices shown, so it is no wonder the queue is long and gets tangled up with the toilet queue. They keep the menu hidden beside the till. The oatcakes...More

The place looks great and we were fooled into thinking this would be a nice place to eat. Unfortunately the ingredients are cheap and of very poor quality. We were caught out and definitely wouldn't return. Lot's of horrible chips being left at every table.
