I hadn't eaten at Gus's for years but found when I did a couple of weeks ago it was as good as I'd remembered. Same friendly service, good home cooked food at reasonable prices. I had the toasted western deluxe which came with yummy coleslaw & lots of fries, enough to share with my friend whose meal didn't come with... More

I have enjoyed eating at Gus's for years. I took my three grandsons this evening and wasn't impressed. Our food wasn't ready at the same time..my one grandson's bacon burger was missing the bacon...the seafood platter was very over cooked...the kids chicken fingers meal..over priced...had only 2 small pieces of chicken and a huge pile of fries. This was a... More

Having eaten at Gus's on a few occasions now i can only complement them on the friendly, fast service and portion size and quality of the food. Most places you will have at least 1 not so great experience. I still havent had that at Gus's. Always good hot food presented by friendly staff . A great family restaurant .... More

All of your standard menu items in Canada. A busy place for breakfast and lunch. Booths out front ...tables in the rear room. Prices are typical. Quality and quantity is typical. Service is fast and friendly. Moderately accessible to wheelchairs.

I had two meals this time, a supper and a breakfast. Both were typically good quality meals at reasonable prices. This family restaurant is always busy, filled with the locals, and the friendly waitresses clearly enjoy their jobs. Check out the many humorous restaurant-related cartoons on the wall.

Came for breakfast, service was fast, food was as expected and exactly what we were looking for - taste great, not pretentious. Will return!

It 's a no nonsense diner, place your order but once you are sitting there, reading the very funny sayings on the signs or getting a little bit of local gossip or a big smile from the waitress or a peek of Gus in the kitchen, you see it's a really nice place. Food was good.

As other reviewers have said this is a throwback restaurant. Really old chairs, booths, and decor. The breakfast wasn't terrible but I kept wishing we'd gone to Timmies instead. The prices are high for what you are getting.

If you're in the mood for a down home meal or just want to catch the flavour of the local yokels stop by and order anything on the menu . You won't be disappointed. Our favourite has been the oven-baked lasagna with lots of cheese and delicious sauce layered over well cooked noodles and meat. There's no room for dessert... More

Had breakfast here one day. Waitress was abrupt - couldn't blame her as the place was packed and she was only one serving. Coffee was decent, but food was swimming in grease. I joked to my husband as we left "I'm gonna pay for that" and sure enough was up all night ill. Would only recommend it if you ve... More
