You need to be prepared to purchase what is available depending on time of arrival (peak demand reduces selection) as it is unlikely that you will find the nutritional value, flavor, or food anywhere within 100mi to compare. Real food, served by real folks really quick (given that you're in the middle of nowhere). Strawberry Rhubarb pie is simply "To... More

This little bakery, coffee shop and gallery seems to do a roaring trade with both locals and tourists alike. All baked from scratch. We visited on a miserable day, pouring with rain so didn't get to see the lovely outdoor area in action, but it looked beautiful. Cinnamon buns excellent, one (unexpected) GF option and the coffees were OK.

My wife and I were in Haines Junction overnight during our Alaskan travels. The Village Bakery was recommended as a good local option for dinner however, that's a little misleading - it's more breads, cakes, pies, drinks, etc., suitable for breakfasts and for lunches. On arrival, we found there was very little in the way of options to choose from.... More

We bought sandwiches for our lunch later that day. Handmade everything. Yummy. Took a bit of time to make them but worth the wait.

This is a treasure of a place to stop for a coffee, beer, sand which or an excellent cinnamon bun! It's not on the main road so I missed it coming through town last time, but it's a great place for a quick bite or a relaxing time over coffee. Has limited indoor seating but lots of outdoor deck seating.

Best place in the area to get a coffee, espresso or a sandwich for your daytrip. They have a wide collection and make it fresh.

It offers good food until about 7.30 in the evening and is open for breakfast and lunch. We had "dinner" here as most alternatives looked unacceptable and also bought our take-away sandwiches there the following day. The "menu" is limited, but the bakery looked well stocked.

Haines Junction does not have many options when it comes to food or motels. The Village Bakery offers fresh baked goods, along with some breakfast items such as breakfast burritos, and quich. It's rare to find such Quality products as you will in this remote area.

We stopped here on our way to Haines. It was definitely worth stopping for. We had cappuccinos, strudel and Nanaimo bars. Everything was very good. And the staff welcoming and professional. We used the internet which was fast and reliable. It's a cute little coffee shop with a big deck to sit in the sun and relax after spending some... More

We have an assortment of breakfast (pastries, quiche, breakfast wraps) lunch (pizza, soup and sanwhiches, paninis) and dinner items (lasagna, salads, spanakopita). We also have great coffee, espresso, latte's, as well as ice cream and beer/wine. Our menu is to large to list here so come stop by and see for yourself! Great outside dining on our deck with a superb view of the St. Elias Mountain.
