You can tell this is a good place to eat when the locals are nearly as many as the tourists who come in on the ferry. My fav is the Royal, (scrambled eggs with smoked salmon) and Will does an excellent job. Next day, the soup of the day was carrot ginger and was so good I had two bowls.... More

Good food and coffee. Nice and bustling on the weekends with local and tourist traffic alike. Fantastic place to read the paper and start your day. I recommend the breakfast bowl.

I visited this cafe twice this past weekend. We got off the ferry and the first sign we saw that said coffee we gravitated to. Glad we did as I ordered Chorizo and avocado eggs be my for breakfast and it was perfection. Great coffee too. I will have dreams about it. Stopped by here for lunch on Monday before... More

The Snug is a family-run cafe with some excellent choices for food. The thing I like about The Snug is the friendly, warm atmosphere and the fact that it seems like it's always open when you need something to eat. Homemade soups, and egg dishes, this is a great place for a quick stop and go, or to hang out... More

Usually quite crowded around noon because of ferry concerns and because the food is so good. Service is fast and friendly. if YOU EAT THERE ORDER ONE OF THEIR RUBEN SANDWICHES just great about 1 1/2 inches of hot sliced beef with sourkraut (sp)and mustard. Makes my mouth water just writing about it

I just had a Earl Grey Latte here but the food selection seemed fantastic. Totally a small town place, you could tell a lot of locals go here. We sat on the patio, did some people watching. Great little place.

We were on Bowen for the first time, and wanted to stop for coffee after we got off the boat. This is a charming spot, full of tourists and locals, so the vibe is great. We only had coffee, but it was delicious.

We took the 8 am ferry and since this was our first trip to Bowen and didn't know the restaurants at all, this little gem could not have been a better choice for breakfast. Delicious, fresh food and quick service.

Great place for breakfast. The food tastes amazing and is prepared fresh. Only wish the place was bigger as seating is hard to get on busy mornings.
