We were staying nearby and ordered from the menu for take out back to our hotel. Food is terrific and very tasty. Wait time was fairly good. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Lovely restaurant and very nice staff. Extensive menu posted and we really had a hard time choosing but were very happy with our Mac and Cheese and salad combo. Either would have been enough. If those were half portions I don’t think we could have...managed full portions!! There was also all sorts of gourmet groceries available for purchase. You don’t usually see meat that you would want to buy in this type of situation but that meat must have been local. It looked delicious!!More

While driving from Lillooett to Whistler BC we were looking forward to stop for brunch at Pemberton. We thought it wouldn't take too long - you order your food at the counter, pay and find a table (limited tables inside - too cold and wet...to sit outside on the patio at the time), and told they would bring your order to your table. We each ordered the full breakfast - bacon, eggs, potatoes, toast, coffee. We were not informed we could pick up the coffee right away so we waited until everything came. By the time we got our food, we were very hungry but more disappointing was that it was very greasy....everything on our plate! We could have used a whole roll of paper napkins to soak up the grease. After we informed our server how greasy our meal was, she was kind enough to ask if we wanted another serving, however, we were pressed for time. We thanked her, paid the bill - $40 - and went on our way. To be fair, I have read some good reviews and some bad reviews on the Mile One Eating House which is based on personal experiences only. This just happened to be a bad experience for us.More

Interesting varied menu. Had mac and cheese with bacon and broccoli. Could have had a little more spice. Great for a late dinner. Service quick and friendly. Good Covid protocol.

Enjoyed my yummy salad on my last visit here. Decently priced, big portions (I only had a 1/2 salad and I was full!). Pets allowed on the patio so I got to enjoy lunch with my pooch. Convenient location, close to Pemberton Valley Lodge where...we stayed during our visit. Friendly staff and service. I try to go here whenever I come to visit Pemberton.More

Don’t know why so many raving about this place and a 4.5 overall rating? We ate here on August 26. One blue cheese burger and one mile one burger, side order of poutine. Took over half an hour for the food, which we were told...in advance. The place was moderately busy, but not slammed with everyone arriving all at once. The burgers were both overcooked, and not “hot off the grill”. Buttermilk bun was nice and fresh and held up well, mediocre lettuce tomato etc. Not much “dressing” or condiments. The poutine also was not hot, some nice chunks of cheese curds, but didn’t get melty, gooey without hot enough gravy. The gravy was very tasty, best part of the meal. Had two beers with it and it was over $50 with tip. Nothing to write home about.More

I got a Ruben sandwich and my husband got a pork belly sandwich. Both were very sloppy and the bun was too soft to hold in the fillings. The pork butt needed to be crispier so it was just too fatty. Neither of us finished...our sandwich. We would not return when visiting Pemberton.More

Ate a gorgeous steak, Mac and cheese, and salad with husband. Food was very tasty all around, but hubs wasn’t a fan of the jus for the steak. Salad was very tasty and generous for a half portion. Servers were lovely. Steak was pretty pricy...at 29 before sides, but was well prepared and delicious. Wines appeared on their online menu but were t actually offered. Lots of craft beer and ciders.More

I'd heard great things about this place, and ordered takeout after a long day of working in the area. Didn't have time to eat and brought it back to Vancouver with me (three hour drive). Upon getting home, I discovered that the order was completely...wrong. There's $50 worth of food I couldn't eat (allergies) and I'm never getting back. Called the restaurant and got a 'oh, that's too bad' message. My advice: CHECK YOUR TAKE OUT before you leave the place.More
