My wife & her sister ordered the French onion soup; they didn't have any. The settled for a pureed parsnip soup (2/5). They shared a trout plate which was not cooked enough (0/5) . I had the fishcake plate with poor french fries (2/5). In...sum, not a place for a second visit. The positives are the location and spacious place. (More

This restaurant is across the street from our favorite motel (Mon Repos)., so we have enjoyed several meals there. The menu is varied and features wild game dishes as well as beautifully & elegantly prepared selections (French onion soup is outstanding!!). Since we have dined...there several times, I can say that the meals are consistently first class; perfectly prepared, artistically plated, and every item served at the correct temperature. The staff is friendly, warm, and efficient; all of these factors make Fourquet Fourchette one of our favorites--absolutely five-star, and a "must" for serious diners to enjoy when in Chambly!!More

It was a special event on a Saturday afternoon with a planned menu for 25 people. The tables were placed a little too tight for adults and children. The organizer ordered penne with tomato sauce and instead got a substitute pasta. There were only two...people to clean the tables. They just stood behind the bar literally doing nothing. We had to help them pick up the dishes to clear the tables. The buffet brunch was okay I guess, it showed it was prepared ahead of time. When it came time to pay , the manager a young woman insisted that I leave a tip before leaving. I replied that I wasn't the organizer and I shouldn't be obliged to leave anything. No professionalism what so ever. I will never return to this place and I don't recommend it to anyone.More

We went there on a Saturday evening, so we knew there would be a crowd. We anticipated that service may be slow, but the service was excellent. The issue was with the food. My wife had the magrais de canard and I had the poitrine...de volaille. Both of our meal were over done. My chicken breast looked like it was cooked and then put under a heat lamp to keep warm. It was very dry. The duck was good but also over done. As for the desert I should have returned it. It was as if it was dropped. the Croustard de pommes was good but ... I will not mention the cost of this meal but I can say that I will not be recommending this place to my friends.More

We stopped at Fourquet Fourchette for lunch as we were traveling from Burlington, VT to Quebec. The lunch we had was perfect. First, the outdoor dining overlooking the water helped relieve some of the tension accompanying hours on the road. Next, our server spoke English...when she realized we spoke no French. She was patient, courteous, and helpful. Our meals included a salad bar and dessert. The food, especially the creme brulee, was tasty. We recommend a stop at Fourquet Fourchette.More

It was not me first time at the restaurant, the tow first time the service was bad, I gave them a third change and the service was way better. The server was very nice and explained the menu, and answer my question on the food.

What a fantastically beautifully located restaurant with first class service from Penelope. The Pork was a little salty but that was overshadowed by the service. Great place for a lovely dinner with a sensational view. We had the Tuango special and you would think the...food and service might have been a little less than expected but nope is was 5 Stars!!! Gave a 4 overall as the soup was a little cold and the pork was saltyMore

Thank you to the team at Fourquet Fourchette for coming together and organizing our dinner during a challenging family time. Our Mother has passed away and we needed a place to host a dinner for 22. The team was very accommodating and understanding of our...needs. The created a menu for us and provided excellent service. They even helped us figure out who was on which bill, after we chose to sit dispersed at the table. The food was excellent, everyone enjoyed it. Especially the French Onion Soup. We'll be back next time we're in Chambly.More

What a beautiful place and an even nicer location. Set right on the waterfront. The place is huge!!! So this is a perfect place for large gatherings. Not the ideal place for an intimate setting. Large windows looking over the water make this a wonderful...place. We were 8 people celebrating a company Xmas party. We were very well taken care of. It was a table d’hote. Salad bar was included in the price. I ordered the Onglet the boeuf which was really tasty. However I was left hungry after eating. I went to the salad bar that had bread and soup and of course the salad. But the salad was wilted and not fresh, therefor not that appetizing. We were also served a slice of chocolate mousse cake but you could almost see through the piece. I was one of the luckier ones with a bit of a larger piece. But there were men in the group and it was devoured and not sufficient. I did enjoy my experience. The price was reasonable considering all that was included. I will try it again but in the summer on the outside terrace as the interior is just too large and impersonal. By the way, the washrooms are incredible. Clean and rustic decor.More

My family and I are fans of Unibroue brewery and their beers, so we came to visit their restaurant/bar Fourquet. My family and I came during lunch and it wasn't empty or busy. We were quickly attended to, and our servers were accommodating and quick...to explain anything in French. The restaurant building I found charming with views of the lake so it had a comfortable ambience. We went during lunch so their menu isn't as big, but it includes dishes with fish, beef, pork, chicken etc... Included with your meal is a salad/soup bar and dessert. For 16-18 CAD that is a solid lunch deal. You will get full, and lets not forget the beer, their delicious belgian style beers. 20oz pours for about 8 CAD is worth every drop. Definitely worth a visit.More
