The salmon was amazing, octopus too. The owners are Portuguese and the food is authentic. I was only slightly disappointed with the beef tartar and the lack of beer choices.

Bread is excellent and tasty, came piping hot. Chicken was cold seemed to have been outside for long time then reheated. Salmon fish uncooked and caused sickness from it being uncooked. House wine was bland, tasted like vinegar. My advice, stay away!!!

Ordered 3 tapas, rouleaux de printemps, (spring rolls), vol au vent aux crevettes (shrimp vol au vent) and prosciutto rolls. We also shared some home made fries. Food was excellent, expecially the shrimp vol au vent and prosciutto rolls! 3 HUGE shrimp in the vol au vent. Reasonable prices, great view, very quaint. Recommend

Visited there bc Fourquet Fourchette was closed for Canada Day. Only one white and red wine by the glass at over $10, so we ordered sangria which tasted like it was from a bottle. Bread service was delicious. I had salmon served with rice and veggies. Rice and veggies were good but salmon was cooked well to over cooked when... More

You will love this place for the location and the view, and leave with your belly full of Portuguese inspired food.

A nice place to go for lunch Summer or Winter to watch the the river and the Chambly Fort while having a nice Portuguese "Bistro" food. Excellent appetizers to choose from and good solid main dishes. I had some excellent snails with a basil/cream sauce and a bavette with a smoked sweet pepper sauce. Fries are excellent too ! In... More

We were the only diners. The waiter was very attentive and helpful. A bit of a wait for our meal. Food was good but not as good as the price would suggest.

All of the above and much too expensive! The location and the view are first class, but that's all they have. Rude, pretentious service sets the tone, but the uninspired food was a joke. We even had to ask for the pepper mill! I'm being generous by awarding a 'poor' rating, I will not return.

The food arrived at the table and was not hot enough and when I mentioned it to the waiter he asked if I would like to be the chef and go into the kitchen. Wish I had responded positively! Disappointed in the lamb-too much fat on the chops! Wasn't offered pepper, instead had to request it! Too expensive for that... More

Fire has claimed yet another restaurant in Chambly and sadly, it was my favourite of all of the eateries around here. The fire is being treated as suspicious. Nobody was hurt in the fire, at least, but it is still a damn tragedy. I only pray that José and his team regroup and rebuild and with any luck, sooner rather... More
