Stopped here on our trip back from Whistler, Nice location on the main street. Service was prompt and friendly. Fish and chips (halibut) was excellent. Nice sized portion of beautiful white halibut . Very pleased we chose to get off the highway at Horseshoe bay. Very scenic little town and a great meal at Troll`s.

Stopped in for a late lunch and dined on a brunch burger and a schooner of red truck ale. Perfect after the day spent travelling. The staff were welcoming and attentive allowing us to take our time with our meals and drinks. Free wifi too which is a bonus so we could txt family back home on the other side... More

Troll's is a good spot to go if you have to wait for a ferry in Horseshoe Bay. We just missed the boat to Langdale yesterday after a good day of golf in Richmond and so popped over to Troll's for a drink and some chicken wings. The honey garlic wings were good, crisp and not at all greasy. The... More

Good restaurant. We had the fish pie which was delicious and piping hot. Sat outside with a great view. Waiter was very good. Definitely worth a visit.

We ended up in the lovely Horseshow Bay by chance and what an enjoyable discovery, the restaurant specialises in fish and chips but offers also other alternatives, and is obviously very popular with families as internal dining area of over 100 seats was full to the brim. Sunset time, so we sat outside and enjoyed the view of the little... More

Trolls is always a great place to stop for fish and chips when in the area. We had cod fish and Haddock as the specialty of the day. Once you are finished lunch take a walk over to watch the ferries come and go. Makes for a fun day and tasty food

Our family has been going to Troll's for more than 50 years, but hadn't been there for a few years. Missed a ferry so popped in for a quick bite on a Sunday evening of the long weekend. Very busy! We got a table for two pretty quickly, and had our order in soon after. The waitress said ahead of... More

Having been to Troll's many times over the years, I'm so impressed with how they are increasingly improving their menu and decor to keep up with the times. Service is always great and very efficient. I can't imagine going anywhere else while waiting for the ferry or just taking a visit to Horseshoe Bay.

Oh wow! So good! We took a detour to Horseshoe Bay on a whim while returning from whistler to Vancouver and were rewarded with a lovely charming village and super meal at Trolls. The fish pie was sock full of good seafood and my husband declared the Original Fish and Chips with prawns as out of this world. This was... More
