Late January 2017 wen tin for dinner. My wife had a burger said it was pretty good, I opted for halibut and chips and it was horrible.

Trolls has a extensive menu from clam chowder, fish and chips and hamburgers. They are great at serving a meal quickly if you are waiting for a ferry

Trolls does great breakfasts - if you are waiting on a ferry this is the place to be. Good value and good service too.

Big family with two kids and a senior, we got off the ferry and had a lunch here. Portions and food were not as good as expected, but service attitude was bad. Waitresses took our orders wrong and complained to us about it! There was a very rushed atmosphere and our server was very rude and angry. We will never... More

We came in for lunch with the kids. We ordered cod fish and chips for everyone. The cod was good, but I expected more from a place that has the tradition they have. The chips were below par with a bitter/burned aftertaste. The kids were super happy. Portions are very big. Good service. The view and atmosphere are great.

We had a delicious meal there. Staff were friendly and attentive. Great location. As a Celiac I couldn't enjoy the fries but they did have gluten free options available.

The service was great enough to get 5 stars. They offered us a booster seat for our kid without us having o ask and offered to put fries on quickly for him if he couldn't manage the 30 minute wait for food. To me, that offers is above and beyond accommodating for families (we don't expect it, but we certainly... More

Our group of 25+ hikers training for the Camino were well fed at Trolls. Service could have been quicker but when the dishes came they were plentiful portions and tasty. I ordered battered cod and chips, a formidable mound of french fries, and a side of cole slaw all washed down with a pint of Granville Island pilsner. A very... More

Always busy ~ Sunday afternoon we waited 10 minutes for seating. Staff very courteous, food was very good. Our party had a variety of dishes; Vegetarian, Salads, Fish & Chips which was very good. Quite a cross section of customers from couples to families & small groups of friends. Service was fast & meals arrived hot & tasty. We look... More

I would say this is a standard restaurant which remains constant over the years. If you can try to sit by the window for the view. This time I liked the oyster burger and the white of the house is very nice as well.
