Friendly environment, quite the humour and honestly amazing sandwich for a great price. They also got some exotic food and products that are hard to find as well.

Salam makes the best sandwiches around! But be warned, the conversation can be off colour. You can get whatever sandwich is on the menu but the best ones are when you let Salem make what he wants. I've never been disappointed.

Seriously - This place is not for the faint of heart – don’t take your mother or your kids! But if you want an amazing sandwich that has enough meat and cheese to feed your family for a week that is cheaper than Subway then this is the place for you! Seriously amazing sandwich. Its freaking huge and so good... More

Be prepared to be entertained here, don't go if you get easily offended. Line ups out the door and go early or he might run out of buns. Great sandwiches, enough for lunch and dinner with the family. He makes awesome platters also for group gatherings.

Our vegetarian son in law suggested we visit La Charcuterie. He had heard the sandwiches were great and the owners chatter was worth the visit. He said he was going to go by one day and try a sandwich himself. He was right in that the sandwiches were fabulous, He was right that chatting with the man known as the... More

These sandwiches are massive. We weighed ours and it was 2 lbs. it would cost more to buy the ingredients to make these. He loads it full of meat and cheese. Fresh quality ingredients. Not to mention the owner is hilarious and a great person. He donates hundreds of sandwiches a week and delivers them with volunteers to homeless in... More

I have been going here for years! You can not go wrong what so ever with a sandwhich for $8 from here. The amount of meat and cheese you get on it is amazing. It takes me about 2-3 meals to eat a whole sandwhich. Do not go here if you are sensitive. Salam makes a ton of crude jokes... More

Well, this is the place a lot of people are talking about in the media. There is a movie (documentary) showing about this guy who models himself after the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld fame. Salam Kahil is a Lebanese-Canadian who runs the store himself but you would be wise not bringing up the movie, it is a sore point for... More

I was told about this place by a friend and forewarned on how to act once inside - i.e. say Hello, no cell phones etc. The owner is an eccentric but afiable individual who likes to make crude jokes and get the customer laughing. There's a menu on the wall but he ignores it - you get whatever he feels... More
