Best restaurant around, probably over a 100 km radius. Do not be fooled by the fact that it is such a small town, this restaurant is truly great, it would deserve its own Michelin star. It is definitely worth taking a trip to this area only in order to eat here. You will find lots and lots of traditional places around, this is not the case. The food is very tasty, very nicely reinterpreted and very carefully placed on the plate. The size of any dish is reasonable, the service is quite good. It would not mind if you were able to learn one-two words in Hungarian for the waiters, they would appreciate the effort. Do not skip the desserts.
One more very important point: the quality is consistent. We visited it last year as well, nothing has changed.

The location is nice, a bit rustic, which makes it even pleasant.
The staff was very polite and friendly, really liked the way they served us.
Speaking of food, all was delicious, especially the "no meat dishes", we really liked the camenbert cheese in almond crust and the zucchini balls.

We went on a tour through the region with some friend, tour that also included the city of Targu Secuiesc and we decided to eat lunch at this location.
It was an excellent choice as food tasted great and also looked well. the service was prompt and we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the place.

Why you need to read this before you come here.
Firstly they have outdoor tables, so you can serve food here.
Saturday evening 3 tables with customers, 10 minutes since our arrival, none of the 2 waiters notices that we sat down at a table. None of them was properly wearing a mask according to the regulations.
These two things convinced me I wasn t so hungry afterall and went to a different place.

I stopped at this place with my family while driving from Bucegi mountains to Slanic Moldova. This restaurant truly celebrates the best the region has to offer, with elevated Hungarian dishes celebrating local Romanian ingredients. Our group has some eaters with high standards, from my sister who dines at fancy Michelin starred restaurants, to my Grandma who has very high standards of what good quality food is. We were all blown away by the tastes, creativity, and hospitality.
We each started with soups, and had the sour cherry soup, the celeriac cream soup, and the goulash. All were unique and fantastic, the sour cherry soup was incredibly refreshing and balanced, the celeriac soup was delicious and refined, and the goulash was hearty and packed with intense paprika flavor, and served with fresh made potato bread.
For starters a few of us had the duck, which had nicely crisp skin and a great taste, the chicken thigh - which was a highlight - featuring incredibly crispy skin and flavorful potato garnish, and the beef filet, which was tasty but not the standout dish, it was a little overcooked.
The desserts were great as well and the server was incredibly hospitable, even telling us where in town to go chopping for ceramics and wines.
All in all the meal was delicious, and we were talking about it for the rest of our trip. Highly recommend going out of your way to eat here.

We had a dinner here with a business partner and then we ordered from here for take away the next evening. Both occasions proved to be a good choice. Papardelle with forest mushrooms is a must, but the other dish were perfectly prepared too.

I was there two times in a month. Fist time I try a pork chop with rustic potatoes and tiramisu. Nothing very special, but the service and atmosphere was very ok. 2nd time I try a wiener schnitzel with Bavarian potatoes and a traditional hungarian desert : dumplings with cheese.

Bohemian location, inside out, in a city definitely deserving more time to explore.
Simple menu but tasty food, friendly staff, cozy outfits, clean toilets. Payment by card.
Definitely to come back to.

Even though it was cold during the series, it was nice to sit on the terrace and listen to the music. Polite staff , menu and drinks to choose.

Great place, quiet
The food was amazing!!!
We had "supă de vișine cu spumă de brânză", "spaghete carbonara" and "piept de pui la grătar cu sos de cașcaval, praz și porumb, orez fiert"
The taste of the soup was out of this world.
The prices were really decent
There is a small playground for children
