I strongly recommend it!
The location is clean, away from the asphalt, in an inner courtyard...
Arrived at the location a young and keen waiter, led us to a free table and provided the menus. After we decided and launched our order, in a relatively short time we received the first dish. Beef Tartar. Well cocked yet a bit over seasoned with paprika powder. Otherwise, it was good.
It came with toasted potato- bread and butter.
immediately after clearing the table came the second course... Bab gulyas si Hungarian Gulyas. Both were well cooked and very tasteful.
We went there for the Gulyas but we could see a lot of very appetising plates served to the other customers...
So, I recommend you to visit and try their food.
As for me, II would definitely do it!

We tried to eat something traditional, coming on a short visit to Sfântu Gheorghe. I found the location with the help of Google Maps, it is close to Elisabeta Park. Very nice location, there is a terrace and tables inside. We sat on the terrace. There is disinfectant, the waiters wear masks, gloves everything is prepared for visitors according to the rules. The staff is welcoming and we were served quickly. I ordered "Hungarian GoulashSoup. " which is very good. If you want spicy you can also order hot peppers. The second way I ordered "Cordon bleu" and "Cutlet Szekler" very good, tasty food! If you have a road through Sfântu Gheorghe, you must come here!

Great place! The food was excellent and the Meniu is very Various you need at least 5 minutes to decide what to eat due to the various choices. Regarding drinks you have also a lot of varieties to choose from. The staff was very nice and the serving was very prompt. It is a beautiful and clean location. Thank you for serving us, and we will guarantee to come back!

Very bad staff’s attitude. We arrived at 11:55, when they were eating and told us that they are closed and they will open at 12 o’clock. We come back at 12:15 and they told us that they haven’t food to prepare.
We lose time because we are in hurry to go home, in Bucharest and of course our kid was very hungry.

We enjoyed a traditional dinner here. The food was tasty, the staff was really helpful and kind and the service was rather fast. I would recommend this place to tourists who want to try traditional Romanian and Hungarian specialities.

Food is very tasty and portions are big. Prices are low as well. The waitress was extremely kind and gave us heartfelt advice on what to order. She seemed very passionate with helping others. Everything was good, but don’t order the cheesecake, it was horrendous.

Szentgyorgy Pince (Pivnita Sfantu Gheorghe) is a medium-sized restaurant that is the hidden gem of the city. The menu consists of a mix of traditional Transilvanian, Romanian, Hungarian and international cousine - everyone can get something that will live up to their expectations and even surpass them. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, they are clearly professionals. The restaurant sticks to the COVID regulations, everyone can feel safe there. It is close to the main square and Elisabeta Park.

Good food, good service and nice people.
Everything we ordered was delicious. We ordered somon and mangalița pork meat for main dish and the grilled vegetables were consistent and delicious.

We stopped on the way to the seaside. Nice location but the food was rather average, the veal in the goulash and the beans were poorly bodied, the fried potatoes came directly from the freezer. I was expecting more, maybe just a bad cook day.

We came back again. Everytime we pass through Sfantu Gheorghe we eat here.
The food is still great and the people are still very kind.
We reccomend fried icecream(inghetata prajita) as dessert. It's great :)
We also had a meat big plate with french fries and hungarian goulash soup and both were delicious

This is a very well located place, with friendly and professional staff, interesting recipes and big portions.
It is located in underground, it has a a plenty of space and is suitable for groups. It seems that is also prepared for live shows

A restaurant in an old cellar, with very friendly staff and Hungarian based menu that one cannot miss. Best gulaș I have ever had and a Holstein beef in a unique recipe. The deserts are closing a marvelous meal. I will definitely go there again.

One of the best places I’ve been to in Transylvania. The personnel was very friendly and spoke excellent English. One could tell they loved their job.
Without navigation or clear instructions you’d probably never find it, but many guests came in once lunchtime arrived, which was a good sign.
The restaurant itself is beautiful, clean and reminds of the restaurants one would find in Rome (without the loudness and different food..).
The tables are all properly set, lots of work goes into decoration.
My grandmother (not an easy one when it comes to foreign food..!) absolutely loved it. She keeps talking about the home made lemonade she had here. The gulyás soup was excellent. Will come back.

The staff was very accommodating and nice. We started with “chimion secuiesc” - a hard liquor, made locally. And then we tried one of their goulash and a steak, and it was all great. A very big plus for the marinated/pickled mushrooms. They’re a must try! As is the restaurant itself. Very good value for money.
