Out for a brunch Yum Cha at Plume Maribyrnong. All the goodies were coming thick and fast with the waitresses spruiking what was on there heavily laden trolleys. Seafood and dumplings of various types and flavours. Asian vegetables, Pork, Roast Duck, Chicken, Calamari etc., you name it we had that lazy Susan spinning like a roulette wheel. Service was great... More

Needed somewhere to eat before the movies at Highpoint that wasn't fast food so we chose Plume. Thoroughly enjoyed it. We shared Deep fried scallops with peppery salt, sliced beef in Szechuan sauce with seasonal vegetables and steamed jasmin rice. Scallops were lovely and moist with a yummy, light coating which was very tasty. Great choice. Beef dish was tender... More

I was invited to share Yum Cha for a Saturday Lunch. Service was excellent, food was OK but overall did not seem as fresh and the standard of Doncaster. Many of the steamed dishes were dry on the edges indicating that they were starting to dry out, definetly not straight out of the steamer. The front doors need maintenance, the... More

Been here a couple of times for Yum Cha. Swift service and nice tasting food for a reasonable price.

I have been to many chinese restaurants. From Lingwah in Frankston, Dai Chwo in Hong Kong, Tsiu Mah in Beijing to Wan Loy in Traralgon. No matter how distant these restaurants are from eachother, they all share one thing in common. Flavour. Value. Service. Sadly Plumes does not share 1 thing in common with any one of these above mentioned... More

We have been regulars of plumes for a long time and noticed that the weekends don't seem nearly as busy as they used to be and for good reason. The quality has dropped but the prices have sky rocketed. A 'standard' dish which is the most basic type of dish is $5.80 and it goes up to $10 for a... More

Love the food here, a bit more pricey but worth it. Haven't tried Yum Cha only ordered from A La Carte menu. Staff attentive and food delicious. Favourite dish is Mango Prawns

We went there for Mother's Day to give Plume another chance to show us that our last 2 visits where we had poor service was not typical. But unfortunately, the service was very poor - we had all our entrees served separately, with one entree served while we were eating our mains (after we had asked 3 times where our... More
