Lunch was awesome. The non-driving adult had a Shaft drink to start. For food, we had the spicy chicken, salmon and quinoa, and eggplant parmigiano club. All were tasty and unique. For dessert, white chocolate cheesecake and the mixed berry pie (dessert of the moment); both were great.

This was our favorite place we went to on our vacation. The town and restaurant are very charming. The food was well done and the owner was serving strong drinks at the bar.

This dinner tied for "most delicious dinner" in our week in Banff/Yoho (1st equal goes to Park Restaurant in Banff). The town of Field is teeny tiny, and this restaurant is an absolute gem. Detour to it!

What a great little place! I truly felt like the pig when he finds the truffle. Hard to believe there would be a restaurant and pub like this in a hamlet of 168 people. We were staying at the Emerald Lake Lodge down the road, but ventured into Golden for church on a Saturday evening. There seemed to be lots... More

Though menu was creative for breakfast it was limited and a little pricey. Didn't have decaf the day we were there. I don't get the hype about this place. Preferred siding cafe across the street.

The Lodge is very comfortable; tasteful and well designed rooms. The restaurant is EXCEPTIONAL. The servers are knowledgeable and very personable. The cuisine (breakfast, lunch and dinner) was scrumptious. And the delightful personality and competence of the "front of house" Ms. Tanje Baker - - well, she was delightful and was so kind to share her secrets for non-touristy encounters... More

My sister and I stayed at the Truffle Pig while we were hiking the Burgess Shale. The lady at the front desk was so accommodating, we needed to have packed lunches and also early breakfasts she delivered on both accounts. Rooms are clean, beds to die for and the restaurant well I was thinking of our next meal the entire... More

Casual place with excellent salmon, pork piccata, great appetizers and good craft beer. Would go back in a heart beat. Lively atmosphere, friendly service with good suggestions on a varied menu.

This is a lovely lodge/dining establish in the quaint town of Field BC. We so wished we stayed and dined for more than just one night. The hotel was great. Rooms were tiny but lovely. The restaurant is FAB!!! Dinner limited to a 5-6 entrees plus a special but probably the BEST meal of our trip to Western Canada. Our... More

Truffle Pigs is a small casual restaurant in Field, BC, a town of 300 people. The food was fresh and delicious. I had the soup, homemade and really good. Also had a great salad. My husband had the burger, which he also reported as great. This place is very small, so plan on waiting if you get there at the... More
