We each had a different panini and they were both incredible. Wonderful ingredients and a very quaint and cozy spot!

Our family has always stopped at the Siding Cafe for a nibble. The food is a gastronomic art form with flavours balanced, textures excitedly mixed, and visually delightful on the plate. Someone obviously gave up a job in a fancy hotel in France for the alcove cafe in Field. Once I pulled away from the plate, I had the most... More

The siding cafe offers a decent cafe menu including breakfast and lunch dishes (bagels, sandwiches, salads). There's a nice mix of fairly healthy offerings (veggie soups, salads) and traditional fare (BLTs, eggs and bacon, etc). There was only one person working when we visited, so it took some time to cook up our food, which was fine, but it appeared... More

If you need a good and tasty lunch to take up to sights, be sure and stop at this little gem. The food is good and the sandwiches can feed two people. The soup is very tasty and filling on a cold day. The service is a bit slow, but worth the wait.

This place is right across from Truffle Pigs in the town of Field. We had breakfast there and the food was fantastic and a very good price. Small quaint place, excellent service !!!

I ordered the cheese burger and it was the most memorable hamburger I've had since 1985. The handcrafted burger was very flavourful and the salad it came with was wonderful. The service was polite and professional. The restaurant also has an eclectic gift shop (not your usual shop with t-shirts, fridge magnets and postcards). If travelling through Field, BC, make... We went in for breakfast on the 2nd day of our stay in Field and went back every day after that. Decent portions, well presented, fairly prompt service (it's all cooked fresh so you may wait 10mins if they're busy), free refills on the coffee, polite staff, and they do their own hot sauce which, if you are a fan... The Siding Cafe is quaint and cute. A wonderful little place in Field. I ordered the brie bagel. It was incredible. However, service was 30 minutes in line (only two families were ahead of me), and 32 minutes to wait. For. A. Bagel. If this was the service in a restaurant in my home town, it would've been shut down... More

Field is worth a stop without a doubt. Whether you are staying over or just passing through, you might as well stop at The Siding Cafe. The food is good, the coffee is good, and the staff is friendly. It's not the most amazing place in the world, but it is in one of the most amazing towns on Earth.... More
