Delicious and reasonable table d'hote dinner menu featuring local ingredients and tasty twists (Cornish Hen a la Portuguaise especially good). From the fondue starter (made from local cheese and served with toasted pumpernickel) onward we enjoyed this place and its wonderful setting. Sat on the side porch and watched as ducks and other paddlers drifted by.

We had a table by the water, but it was fairly tight for space. The service was slow but pleasant. The food was uninspiring but plentiful. A fairly average experience

This place was great before and good food but one of the owner/server "Fred" as poor attitude and let bad people (his friends) behave with language violence in the bar and support it. If you look for troubles, that's the best place in the area otherwise if you like a place with peace and good time, Pilsen it's not for... More

Location was nice, but not facing the open water of the lake. Rather, it is alongside a narrow canal at the end of the lake. Staff was mixed: our hostess was sour and grumpy, but our waitstaff was pleasant and friendly. Food was standard fare, but on the expensive side for "pub food". My fish and chips was dry and... We stopped for light dinner and sat outside. It was a little cool with a wind along the river after the sunset. Others were wearing fleece and that would have helped! I had the fish sandwich (listed under burgers), which was quite flavorful, though messy to eat because of the slaw. I enjoyed it, and my husband had the fish... More

Drove 1 1/2 hour for a late lunch at the pub on Wednesday., July 19,2016 with visitors from Ontario. Food was terrible, smoked meat sandwich was dry and french fries saturated with oil. Fish and chips were also not very good with dry fish and the same soggy french fries. Service was good and and our table on the patio... More

Good location and nice ambiance, the food was ok but a little too salty for my taste. the portions were good and the service was fine.

I ate at the Pilsen North Hatley with my husband on June 28 and the food was terrible….my husband was literally sick to his stomach, ill into the evening until he vomited all his meal. My husband’s had a salty onion soup as an entrée with no other flavor worth reporting. His beef burger did not taste like a beef... More

Lac Brome is nearly an hour's drive to the west, but this pub serves the remarkable duck produced there, and the chef knows how to prepare it. On our last trip in 2014, we loved the duck legs in berry sauce, and we had a moment of panic on this trip in June 2016 when we saw that the menu... More

Upon arrival of our group of 11 at this post card picturesque restaurant, the reservation made a month before was not on record. The staff quickly put together odd sized tables to accommodate the group and took drink orders. We were informed that the muscles (there were 3 or 4 muscle main courses on the menu) were not available as... More
