The kitchen tends to be the primary reason we visit any property; the Manor Hovey more so than most. You will not be disappointed!

Being a Relais & Chateau restaurant, we had high expectations. I appreciate how kitchens like to push the frontier with more inventive menus but this missed the mark. In general, the desire to let local ingredients ‘shine though’ left many dishes almost tasteless- at least...More

This dining experience was one of the highlights on our Quebec tour. The service was impeccable, the food was exquisite, and the decor was lovely. We would go there again in a heartbeat.

Our dinner and the service at Manoir Hovey were outstanding. They offer a locally sourced menu, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented, with excellent wine pairings. We didn't want to leave! Next time we'll spend the night on site - what a delightful location!

Our opinion of this restaurant is discussed under our review of the hotel. Food was what is expected at a Relais & Chateau, atmosphere was overdone. It is possible to provide excellent service without overdoing affectation.

The menu is simple but very fancy. Food is excellent! Staff very qualified and friendly. Try the bison meat, simply delicious!

Dinner was not what we hoped. We started with the kale pot which really was just a Caesar salad that you made yourself. Fine but nothing special. My husband started with the gnocchi which was good. Then we had the pork loin/belly and the goat....More

Here one can find non standard food items presented by professional staff. Mary Lou assisted us with wine selection. The dining room is warm and inviting in the evening.

The dinner and breakfast were out-of-this-world mouth-watering. For dinner, I had the bison (or was it buffalo) steak from a Quebec producer. The food is all about local Quebec cuisine, which was a treat. My fresh kale salad arrived in a pot and I was...More
