We were so happy to find a restaurant open for our late arrival to town. Service was attentive and very friendly. Large menu. Prime rib was good. Location on the edge of town.

I am responding to the new restaurant that opened at this location several months ago. The food on the menu is excellent, the service is top notch and the prices are very reasonable

Visited The River last night for the first time. Friendly server recommended the Tuesday special. No doubt the best value in Woodstock.

the riverside pub is now called the river and is owned and operated by Wes Corey and is family. They have totally renovated the building and food and service is excellent thumb up to the staff.

I was surprised to see that this pub closed. Someone else has opened a new pub in their location. I have heard that it is good but have not been there yet.

For an inexpensive and decent meal go across the street to the Log Cabin. For a night of beer and pool check out the local Dooley's.
