When I visit Fernie, Mugshots is a must!! Good coffee, good food and good service. My favourite eats at Mugshots are the Bombay Blt and Mugshots superb selection of breakfasts. Free WiFi, child friendly, outside seating.

I find it cozy maybe some new furniture but still cozy . I think its a bistro café if there's such a thing. The staff are awesome and the owner always is welcoming and friendly and its not just a put on cause she wants your money she really is genuine and I find the staff like that also. The... More

Finally a good cup of strong scandinavian coffee! Organic and fair trade as well. Ah! What I have been looking for this! And really nice pastry also!

In the beautiful town of Fernie this place is a scar. The washrooms are falling apart and filthy, the dining area is in total shambles. My chair was so dirty it was gross, every edge had dust floor was dirty cobwebs in corners. No pride in ownership. Put a downer on my otherwise great trip to Fernie. Don't eat here... More

Mugshots features fresh and delicious sandwiches, hot breakfast, soups and treats. The Redneck Breakfast is tasty, as are all of the sandwiches and croissants. The portions are big, and the service always friendly.

This place is a favourite among locals not sure why!! It is dirty o the point of being gross. Cobb webs in ceilings, my chair had sticky stuff on it, bathrooms were horrible and the place was in general dirty. It took over 40 min and it was just eggs. Service was ok until i mentioned that the bathroom was... More

Laid back, unique atmosphere, used books to browse and board games to play while waiting or for all I know other times. Yummy all day breakfasts, wraps, sandwiches and more. You place your order and are given a large wooden spoon with your number on it, then the food is brought to you, there is a tip jar. Closes at... More

We called in for a very late lunch, in fact as they closing. My food choice was finished for the day (soup) but our server very kindly heated some up for me (and not in the microwave!). The food was really great, beaten only by the caring, attentive server. Would come back in a heartbeat. Come try it!
