Used to be one of the best places to get a poutine. They gone downhill over the years and seem to be getting worst... Just not the same quality.

Hankering for a good, authentic poutine and this definitely hit the spot. The potatoes were perfect - even those at the bottom, untouched by the gravy and cheese, were tasty. The gravy is just like I like it - dark and rich, and not too salty. The cheese was good and melty, just like you want it. We both ordered... More

While in Quebec we wanted to try authentic French poutine and came across La Paptaterie Hulloise by chance while traveling through Gatineau. We knew it must be good as the small restaurant was packed with people. They sell a variety of fast foods but while waiting in line we noticed that all patrons came for the Poutine! Fresh cut fries,... More

We dined here this afternoon. We are visiting Ottawa, and were looking to find some great poutine, and wanted to drive across into Quebec to explore a bit anyway. Lots of reviews say this place is great, so we gave it a try. It was okay. Fries and brown gravy were what we expected of a good basic poutine. Cheese... More

Had not been there in several years. It was good but not as good as we remembered it. We had fries and hotdogs. The place was hopping. Ok once in a while.

A good place to stop if you are in the area to grab unhealthy food. Their poutine is excellent with thick gravy and plenty of fresh cheese curd. I would suggest sticking to the classics. Prices are a bit of the high side. There is always a crowd but service is still pretty fast.

A must if you are in the area. Great poutine or just fries. Hot dogs and hamburgers exactly like the old days. I like my hotdogs with tomato and mayo...no problem here, and alway cut up the tomato for me.... Parking can be a little difficult right at lunch or dinner time but not impossible....

First time having poutine in Quebec so take this as an unauthorized review. Gravy was great, fries were great, curd was awesome and squeaked in your teeth as it should. The curd was layered throughout and there was plenty. Eating was a bit cramped but hey, I was here for the poutine, not the ambiance!

Good service for take out. Burgers were homemade style and a good size for the price as were the sausages. We ordered a family size poutine and it was so big we couldn't eat it all. It was smothered with a ton of cheese and gravy and was delicious. The only reason I didn't rate it a five was that... More

I enjoyed a large poutine with Montreal smoked meat. Delicious and well made, layered all the way through so the first bite was as good as the last.
