A true gastronomic delight, carefully prepared and graciously served awaits the visitor at Sooke Harbour. Superb menu and views that allow the diner to see a sunset over Washington's beautiful Olympic Mountains make this trip very special. Bon appetite...enjoy the wines and the ambiance.

Wow, it was excellent. Nice welcome, good and consistent service. The wine menu is massive and a fun read; we found suitable selections for our taste and budget. The food was excellent - everything we had from the 4 course menu was superb including the presentation. The table bread and butter was delicious, too. Nice atmosphere, not stuffy or pretentious... My family visited from our of province and due to my Mum's special day we chose a restaurant fitting for the evening. We arrived and found a restaurant with spectacular views and a warm staff. In the water we could see seals swimming, a couple of otters playing and then a young deer nibbling grass outside the window. Truly a... More

Went on a Sunday evening anticipating a slow and relaxed family get-together. The experience was memorable, good service, relaxed and spacious setting, great ambiance and excellent food preparation and presentation.

The location here is nice, although with fog was hard to appreciate the view. The dining room nicely laid out and you got the feeling you were in for a lovely meal. However, when we arrived the maitre'd made us wait standimg for ages and at first seems to ignore us altogether while he was setting a table. When he... More

I had not been here for years and was worried that it would not live up to the hype in my mind. DInner was wonderful. Perfect flavors, subtle, delicious. A slow and relaxed meal, seasonal and local ingredients in a wonderful building. I love the art, gardens, views and hope that it can keep this ambiance and quality.

Overpriced and slow service. Food was of average quality but a bit short on quantity. Staff seemed disinterested in serving customers whilst we were there

We arrived a little early so we walked around the beautiful property. Around sunset we started our dining Experience. They offer an standard menu or a 3 or 4 course meal with or without wine pairings. We all chose the 4 course with the wine pairing. I started with the corn and scallop chowder soup and then a tuna appetizer,followed... More

Set menu with some choices. The place has a grand reputation, and while largely deserved, they know it a little too well.
