We had a late supper here of fish and chips. Very good fish and large pieces. Service was good. Next time we would go earlier as they were cleaning up the restaurant when we were eating.

Wow! Pretty much sums it up. Ordered cod and chips this time and as usual was blown away by the size of the meal. The fish was huge and done to perfection. I have been coming to Mom's Cafe for years and it never ceases to amaze me. Definitely worth the drive to Sooke to check this gem out! Thanks... More

Mom's Cafe is a go to restaurant for the locals and is the typical small town greasy spoon restaurant. The food is passable, the service variable. The people are great.

We have been coming to Mom's for years. When we first started coming here some 10 years ago, it was excellent. Since then though it has gone downhill although today's stop was not too bad. I had a Hawaiian Burger and my hubby had the fish n chips. Portions are big so be prepared. Both of them were good although... More

The people are friendly and the pies are huge. It's a classic old time diner that has been there a long time. The service is good. It can be quite cold on a winter day especially in the morning. The breakfast was OK (my eggs were cold and the sausages greasy, the bacon was very thin) the potatoes were great... More

This long running "never disappoints" diner is a culinary pleasure. Halibut and salmon are fresh prepared on site what's not to like about that ! Traditional "diner" experience your hostess(es) are pro's at their craft and add to the experience of dining out. The food is tasty and lots of it. I never miss a visit to eat there when... More

Cute little restaurant! Excellent food at a reasonable price. Good service, the waitress we had was so helpful and a delight to interact with. The art on the wall was interesting and available for purchase.

Had lunch on a little getaway; the servers were very nice and attentive and quick. My husband's Monte Christo was a bit cold in the middle; my Clubhouse was very good. We had a beer with lunch which was from a local brewery, and then wandered around the little shops and had an Americano from a coffee shop nearby rather... More

This old-style cafe was built in 1963 and it still maintains the 50's/60's decor and juke box style music. The servers were very friendly and the food was mixed. The soup was excellent but the Monte Kristo sandwich was very dry and nothing special. They had a delicious selection of cakes but we did not try these. It seems to... More

Chainsaw burger was good but patties were from a box could be better, very large portion, however I would order something different next time. My wife had the halibut fish and chips and this was a standout dish. Large portion lots of fries. The coleslaw that accompanied it was dry and could be improved. I would recommend this spot for...
