The eggs benedict and potato pancakes are excellent - and very large portions! I could have had the half portion and been full. Service is great. We had a very good breakfast here.

My hubby and I took a quick getaway before the hussle and bustle of back to school started and had breakfast at Mom's Cafe both mornings of our stay. The food was great and plentiful, the coffee was really good, and the service was top notch. The girls up front really hussle and the kitchen staff do too. Very comfortable... More

The menu is amazing - you can order anything here. This is an excellent alternative to fine dining. Great for a beer and a burger or fish and chips. Expect a lot of food.

This is a diner style restaurant. The staff were friendly and the portions served were huge!! The decor was dated and certainly not fancy which was part of its charm. I would have loved to have had room for dessert. The pies looked fantastic. The halibut and chips and the salmon and chips were both awesome.

Great food but you must leave room for the lemon merangue pie. Super friendly staff accompany good portions. Salmon corn chowder soup is a fantastic. Don't go through Sooke without stopping in this unassuming place.

We don't really eat at diners but the food at this one was very good. Not greasy at all. I had an omelette and it had such great vegetables. Very good food. The server serving us was decent but was clearly having a bad day or just hates her job?

Our group of six had lunch here. All the adults had the seafood chowder which was excellent! Others had salads, burgers etc. The food was great. The service was excellent and accommodating. The decor was slightly rustic but heck, it is called Mom's Cafe! This is clearly a favourite with the Sooke locals which is a good sign. I would... More

When we asked people in Sooke where to get the best fish and chips, we were told of Mom's Café. Not only did they have delicious and generous portions of fish and chips, but also poutine, which my husband considers a 'must have' when in Canada. we were very well satisfied with our meal and followed it with strawberry-rhubarb pie.... Read great reviews but was just ok. Good prices but fish was a little over cooked with fish and chips. Sesame Chicken Salad was drowning in dressing Good service and beer Didn't try the pie

Thank Gladys R
