We stopped in Wawa on our way to Thunder Bay. It is a good place to stop for breakfast, traditional bacon and eggs, good coffee and quick service.

Breakfast service is excellent with bottomless coffee. I have eaten there for breakfast at least seven times and it's good quality food at a very fair price. Homemade bread is a definite difference

Isabel has been waitressing for 42 years. After your first visit she'll remember what you like for breakfast. Special # 1 is peameal bacon, home fries, home made toast with two eggs. Special # 2 has bologna in place of peameal bacon. The atmosphere is local and friendly, great photos of wildlife on the walls, not to mention a most... More

Dropped in while on a cross-country road trip, and inquired if they did take-out since we wanted to eat in our motel room. They certainly do - great take-out including a very thoughtful package of all the accessories & condiments needed. The fish and chips was excellent. Big piece of some local fresh fish, lightly battered, and fresh-cut coleslaw. Very... More

As we walked in to the restaurant we noticed several large "For Sale" signs in the windows. Inside we saw an empty cavernous space with only one couple dining at 6:15 p.m. Nevertheless, we sat down and we were totally ignored for 10 minutes. No one approached our table or said anything to us. We got up to leave and... More

OK, they call it fish and chips in Canada. This restaurant did not disappoint. We were directed here because of other reviews we had read. It was a Friday night, about 7:30. We were the ONLY patrons, which worried us a bit. We decided that we were a bit on the late side. Fish and chips was the special, and... More

We stopped for breakfast before heading out of Wawa. Notices were great 7.99 for pemeal bacon and eggs and home fries with onions and toast. Coffee was hot and good. The service was fast. The restaurant really needs updating though really 1970. wall panelling and the ugly lights have to go. Otherwise if you just want fast good food it's... More
