Came here with friends who had been here before and they said it was good. They were correct. We sat outside with the sun shining. That in itself is great. All the fish dishes we had were tasty and the service was great.

Small, charming restaurant with very good seafood and prime rib. Recommend reservations as it is quite small and was very busy when were there.

I like this place. I has a good feel, the owner clearly cares about the patrons, the fish (halibut, cod) in the local fish is superb, and the servers are attentive without being fussy. We sat out in the garden this time and it was very pleasant. There's an "all you can eat" fish-n-chips with New Zealand fish but we... More

We are on the Island visiting an elderly uncle and took a day trip to Parksville. On our way back to Comox we stopped at Fish Tales. I have not been in England before but this is exactly what I would imagine an English Pub to look like. It was warm and friendly. The service was great. And the food... More

Today 4 of us went to Fish Tales for lunch. I had never been there, and friends hadn't been for years. It was a very pleasant experience, the food was good, hot, large quantities and very good service, especially the price - all you could eat fish and chips $12.00. The menu is varied and another time I would try... More

I ate there three times. Two dinners and a lunch. I had fish twice, and this seasonal side salad to die for - pear and gorgonzola. I could be there solo without feeling uncomfortable - it was casual enough, and the wait staff were friendly. Sitting outside is awesome - lovely garden and fountain, breezy, umbrellas if you want shade.
