You know you have something great when everything in your Poutine is good. The sauce, the cheese and the fresh homemade french fries. Cheesbuger charcoal is also a excellent choice for a cheesburger lovers. Definitly a must stop in Riviere-du-Loup. You also have a really nice ice cream shop right at the next door from the cantine.

I've had the tofu frozen yogourt and the gelato, and they were both very delicious! I've only heard of and tasted tofu frozen yogourt at this place and I'm really glad I've tried it. I've had it many times and it's always delicious. It does NOT taste like tofu and you choose your fruits, like when they make regular frozen... More

We saw this place on our first stay in Riviere du loup on the way to the east coast. We decided to visit it on our way back through Quebec and I'm glad we did. The place was packed with locals (so you know it's good) We had the poutine (original), smoked meat sandwich, hamburger platter, onion rings . The... More

Yummy, yummy soft serve cones. Well worth the stop here for dessert after a whale watching cruise. Glad our guide mentioned it, best soft serve ice cream I have had!

We tried their poutine (Italian and Sausage) and it was good. Classic local fast-food, very reasonable prices.

Not often I use that word. Perhaps it is just a culture thing but the food was awful. If you don't want chips in gravy with sliced bread avoid.

LOVED this place! No wonder it has been around forever. The poutine was awesome and reasonably priced and though it was lined up, the wait wasn't too bad. The cheese was fresh and there was lots of it. If you're in RDL this place is a must!

Burgers were okay. Fries looked good, like typical french canadian chip truck variety. Lots of choice on the menu. Gelato next door was very good. Next time I would just go for dessert,

Fast service and very tasty when you are busy. If you like ice cream this is the best place in town. Can eat inside or outside. You can take out also. Nice place to go with kids. Large parking and you can take a walk to see the St-Laurence River pretty close.

On our family trip out east this summer we found this little gem while heading east and loved it so much that we stopped again on our way back through heading west! The gelato is made on-site and is out of this world!! The also have a huge variety of ice creams available including tons of flavours of soft-serve, soft-serve... More
