We've stopped here for lunch with our friends after reading good reviews on this place. We were not disappointed! The waitress was friendly and helpful even though we didn't speak any French. She helped us navigate the menus. Food was super delicious and the presentation was great! Portions are a good size as well compare to some other French restaurants.... More

Was only in town for 1 night while traveling through and stumbled upon this amazing cafe. We were here for an early dinner and were blown away by the unique and fresh food. We sampled the vegetable soup, olives/pickled eggplant appetizer and a salmon crepe which were all outstanding. Super fresh, great tastes and perfectly balanced food. On top of... More

Back on the road after a quick lunch stop at Café L'innocent, sipping my latte from there and feeling good after a great lunch. We are a family of five and we all loved the food and the atmosphere. The menu is interesting and flavours don't just follow the regular path. Even the classic poutin had a nice twist to... More

We had a fabulous here on Monday evening. So much so, that we went back on Tuesday evening. I had the pulled pork with rice, hubby had the pulled beef Poutine (nom nom) and the kids got stuffed pulled ham and cheese pancakes. We also sampled some desserts. The chocolate gateaux made with Tofu was just about shared by my... More

My husband and I have been coming to this restaurant once a year for the past 4 years en route to the Gaspe. We were looking forward to our dinner for weeks leading up to the trip. The waitress gave us a menu and water and proceeded to tell us how everything we wanted to eat was sold out. She... More

Absolutely marvelous. Simply amazing. Incredible. Set your GPS, find a parking space, navigate the hill and the steps and enter a world where you choose from three shredded meats...ham, lamb or pork, and several treatments...crepes, fried rice, potatoes, noodles, or salades. Worth the trip.

We at at Cafe L'Innocent during our recent stay in Riviere du Loup because of its high rating here on tripadvisor and the number of vegetarian selections on the menu. I had the tofu crepe, which combined sweet and savory elements (tofu, walnuts, maple, etc.) in a surprisingly pleasing way. My husband had the vegepate sandwich, which he said tasted... More

We walked 35 minutes to get to L'Innocent and it was well worth every step ... the Pulled Pork Rice was nicely spiced and a good portion ... the Salmon Crepe had a unique and tasty flavour and the salad was fresh with a delicious dressing ... we shared the vegan Lemon Tarte made with almond milk and it had... After a long drive ate there with my two travel companions. The place is funky in a good way. Quirky art work, original tin ceiling. Two terraces\patios tho a tad too chilly last night to eat there. Inside it was evident this is a family friendly place with several kids with their folks. Some decent local and regional beer available,... More

I had a ham crepe and my husband had a salmon salad. He was pleased with his salad and my crepe was good. We loved the ambience of the cozy little place, on a hilly street overlooking this pleasant little town. The outdoor tables have a view of town and the St. Lawrence River. We were driving to Quebec City... More
