We're visiting family a week before the Canada Day weekend and dropped by the Bear's Eatery a bit before their closing but we were welcomed in and the charming waitress took our drink order while we reviewed the menu. It was quite an extensive menu for a small local eatery but what caught my eye was the liver dinner. I... More

I've been here a few times and really enjoy everything about it. Food is really good and portions are huge. Desserts are great. Service is always fun and friendly. Bear and JJ have a great place here. Family table is a nice perk! Thanks for making this spot so fun and tasty.

A sandwich shop with a music bent and a person who likes to cook. The menu is interesting and flavorful. Old regulars are dressed up and presented in generous portion. We had a very nice waitress and a wonderful lunch. We even had a couple pieces of pie. I am sure you will find something to catch your eye and... More

Found this place in the AAA tourbook. Small place in a residential neighborhood. Had the "Hotdog", really more of a large smokes sausage in a hogie bun, with bacon. All of the meat was very good. Served with cream of potato ham soup. Very flavorful with an unexpected sweet side. Wife had the Beef Dip, which she thoroughly enjoyed. The... More

We have been to the restaurant on two separate visits to Kimberley now and loved it both times. The food is home made and delicious. If you get fries make sure you get the gravy it is the best I have had! Friendly welcoming service.

This restaurant was recommended in AMA book. Loved the decor, the food was great ( I had the pot pie and my husband the fish & chips) and shared the coconut cream pie. Great service from JJ!

Wonderful little place to eat! The food was fantastic, homemade and full of taste. Excellent, friendly service. Price is a bit on the high side, but worth it.
