Not very cosy restaurant, food was far the worst we had in 3 weeks canada. Had different dishes and everyone had the same feeling about his food. The only good thing was the bread. And you can not pay with creditcard .

Went with my family. Only one server for the entire restaurant. The door was open as it was very hot inside /there was no air conditioning. Didn't help much to cool the restaurant but instead there were flys, moths and other assorted species everywhere. Took forever to both take our orders and then to receive our meals. It's apparent the... More

Reviews are on point. The owner takes care of service as well as food in the dimly light, underground "feel" of a restaurant that can barely squeeze in more than 15 guests at a time. However, that's exactly the charm of the spot! The service is super personalized and those cod patties... An instant classic! Give it a try if... More

I agree with other reviewers that this place is overrated on tripadvisor. Cash only. Very slow service. Short and lazy menu.

We read the reviews and thought that we would give it a try. We phoned to see if we needed reservations. No, they were not busy. When we got there we found no one else there. The owner gave us a list of things that he had. The catch of day was delivered by the fisherman while we sat there.... More

We went there after a long day at Percé and had to come back an hour later since it was full. When we came back we were sorry to hear that the restaurant had run out of pretty much everything but we could still order a very very good gaspesian speciality. The owner explained the reasons for his limited menu... More

It's a small restaurant with a limited choice of dishes but all of them seem very good, according to the people around us. We had maple syrop scallops with boiled red potatoes, absolutely delicious! The vegetable cream that came as a a first course was very good too. A French couple at the nearby table had lobster, they were delighted... More

We stopped in for a late meal (9pm) and the owner/chef/waiter who spoke very little English was accommodating and friendly. There was a small table of four having a late dinner, too, and enjoying the last of their lobster dinner. We ordered the cod cakes which was served with a green salad. There were two good-sized cod cakes, perfectly browned... More

A bit of an odd restaurant with an eclectic menu. Many guests seemed to enjoying lobster. The cod cakes and fish we chose were okay however we wouldn't choose this restaurant to return to.

This is a quant restaurant, but can not handle larger groups. We were a party of twelve, our first choices were scallops...house special...but they did not have enough for our party...second choice was lobster...which was frozen and not thawed and served properly, very disappointing...and the wait for dinner was over two hours...if a large group be prepared to wait...unfortunately .
