I've eaten here a few times and it's on par with most pubs. Food is ok, prices are somewhat pricey but portions are good for the money. There are tons of beers to choose from which is a selling point for some of my friends and service is usually good. Any meals I've eaten here have been fine....average pub fare.... More

1. Fish n chips ordered was sub par. Bland really. Not crispy. Not interesting. Good price though 2. Big group came in and waiter never came back. 3. I don't believe in not tipping. But I was tempted to not tip. I only gave a low tip considering we never saw the waiter after the initial meal.

They have a dozen or more beers on tap, many of them craft beers from the region so I'm sure you'll find something you like. Friendly staff relaxed atmosphere good menu of pub fare. Good stop in after work for a quick debrief with the team.

We were a bunch of ladies and one lad! 10 in all and we made reservations earlier in the day! Our service was top notch! Our food was enjoyed by everyone! We would be quick to return!

This is a quaint place to stop for a pint and a bite to eat. Right in the middle of it all on the main drag in Gananoque, easy to find and easy to access. Often features live music. Fish and chips are great...and for a Maritimer to say that, it must be true!

Located in downtown Gananoque this little pub is a real gem. The atmosphere is welcoming and the decor is truly English. We were there on a Friday night so the place was quite busy with locals enjoying a pint and a meal after a hard week at work. The place was filled with laughter and chatter just like in Merry... We visited this pub on a recent visit to Gananoque. We ordered a beer and a red wine. Service was fine and staff were attentive. Only down side was the number of flies flying about.

We decided to go to the Old English Pub because I was craving steak and kidney pie. And, I have to say, it was one of the best I've had in Canada. Unfortunately, the shepherds pie my family member ordered was a bit of a disappointment. Too much potato and not enough lamb. Everything else was good pub grub. I... More
